We booked for three nights Friday to Monday when we arrived we were greeted by miserable reception staff, then we got in to the Aqua lounge and they told us food was on so we got refreshed back at the caravan and went to the Aqua lounge to be told sorry no chef I mean I had a toddler with me so she needed to eat so we had to use the Chinese takeaway which wasn't awful but not what I wanted. The next day we booked pottery painting so we arrived my little girl was excited to be told they hadn't turned up because only one child booked and we paid in advance also so again disappointed. Swimming pool was OK no slide and the life guards were miserable second time in the pool round lads were throwing balls around and being a general pain when life guard told them several times to calm down as a child was in the pool but they just got worse and no security onsite to help. Also when we left we forgot the blow up bath as my toddler hates showers within two hours of forgetting we were still in the resort and told them they said they hadn't found anything and it hadn't been cleaned yet but we can look so we did and it had been cleaned! So again we said it must of been taken they rang the cleaners and they said they had kt but can't bring it back for a day because they took it with them, luckily we were going to butlins so we said we would phone and pick it up. Two days later we finally got it back with no sorry or anything. Play area full of glass arcade dirty and nothing for younger children Only.good points were lucky the lion and the female dj host and the pizza takeaway and Lee the matanience guy Don't waste your money you will be dissaponted

The Coastfields Bungalow was disgusting on arrival. Had cleaners in twice AFTER arrival. Cob webs, spiders around ceilings. Same, plus thick dust, under every bed. Gaps between walls and wardrobes. Dirty cutlery, dirty mugs. Problem with slugs in the INSIDE of the master bedroom at night. Until I put salt around the bedroom walls, and around the outside of the bungalow. Mater bedroom King size bed, isn't actually a king size bed at all, but two single beds, attached. Very uncomfortable. Paid £900 for 7 nights, plus a £15 early check in payment which was spent complaining about the filthy accommodation. Have been to Coastfields many times, but will never return again. The photos of the bungalow are definitely outdated.

After seeing some of the reviews on here, I am shocked to say it a bit better than some of them specified. I stayed in caravan JG87 for 7 days (MON-MON). Check In and Check Out time was a bit crazy, as we checked in a 5pm, and checked out at 9AM! I get it with the COVID and everything, but even last year it was more flexible check in/out times. There was a huge lack of kitchen supplies, we were not given a tray, but we had 2 caravans, one with our other bit of family in, so we had to have the tray as we cooked, leaving them without a tray. It was also small things that we did not receive, like a cheese grater. There were barely enough utensils. It was meant to be an 8 birth but we only had around 5 of each utensil. Some of the staff can be warm, welcoming and friendly. Others, not. The one housekeeping team member was quite friendly. Some of the receptionists were no help, some were okay though. I would recommend staying here, only for a cheaper price. You can get somewhere else much better quality for the same price. I did also like that the site is right over the road from the beach, however, there is a big hill to get up there, there is steps and a road way but it isn't the most handy of things, but this was not bad. There was only ever one lifeguard in the pool, I have never saw 2 in there. And it is the lifeguards choice if the slide gets turned on or not. Also, about COVID, they are not really fussed about it in the entertainment areas or anything, as it was like COVID central on the dance floor. But they want you to check in/out early/late. This, to me, makes no sense.
