Detailed Reviews
Booked a Gold caravan and after reading reviews were dubious however we were fortunate to be allocated a new caravan which was lovely and very clean. We were there for a week and the Fri and Sat were disturbed by what sounded like parties in the apartment blocks however much quieter from Sunday onwards. There was a problem with the water being off for a number of hours but bottled water was provided .Didnt use the entertainment did watch a couple Euro matches in Ba Rumba all the staff in there well organised and friendly and was much nicer inside than the exteria suggests.

I took my 7 year old daughter here for a week daddy, daughter holiday, and we’ve had a great time!
Our caravan was
rented privately so I can’t comment on the rest of the caravans but ours was excellent!
The site is clean and in an excellent location! The beach is literally across the road and the fair is a short walk up the road.
The pool was clean and although it’s a pain to have to book, we got an hour and a half slot. My daughter loved her time in there. The reception staff were also lovely.
The club house was good too, with pretty quick service every evening for drinks. My only gripe was the food. We decided to eat in one evening, the food was over priced, took 45 minutes to cook a burger and chips and some nuggets and chips, and neither of us would it the chips, they were dire!
So aside from advising you eat elsewhere, I’d recommend this site and we will probably come back again.

I have visited before many years ago and returned in October. The vans were clean, however not as equipped as you'd expect but the staff managed to source a few of the missing items.
Covid restrictions and procedures were in place too.
Staff were great and friendly.
Halloween party was well organised and room set up to accommodate all who booked.
Local to other bars, amusements, convenience shops, Chinese and a 15 min walk to fantasy island. Local to buses too if you fancy a trip

This is probably a harsh review but it’s my honest opinion based on my time here.
First off we rented the caravan privately through a friend and the caravan was faultless. Swimming is dirty, small and cold. Lifeguards decide whether to turn the slide on or not. The main show bar is big enough but it’s purely for kids and we have a 10yo and 14yo so wasn’t really suitable for either we couldn’t hack more than an hour.
The arcade is the same as any other it’s a money trap filled with unruly, unsupervised children swearing like troopers.
Next thing is something that’s out of the parks control and that’s the people. Never seen so many obese children in my life followed by morbidly obese parents. Foul mouthed and not a care in the world who’s around kids or not. Spitting swearing and constantly smoking drugs, it’s literally man bag central, woke up 3 times the week we was here to a group of returning lads shouting and arguing at gone 3am in the morning, security should be patrolling the park after dark.
Away from the park you can always get out to the pleasant area (sarcasm) to take in the fresh sea air, that full of weed and the smell of BO and urine. The countries biggest wannabe gangsters all congregate here to compare who has the best man bags and fake clothes.
Only positives for this park are Petes chippy and it’s location if you like Skegness and surrounding areas but unfortunately for us it felt like an outdoor version of Jeremy Kyle

On Arrival car loaded plus family in tow, Wife goes to check in & hey they moved the check in another two hours back. Wow, checked info to be honest they can play with a nearly three hour windows. So in due turn us parents thought we would just visit a few places to visit for children’s sake.
So then things started to get more challenging as again, Wife popped in the to the keys came back with key & a photo copy of the site. I have to point out at this point it started to rain.
Long story short fifteen minutes later & me asking four helpful men, that's me walking down rows of caravans. Yes found it but I had to weave between other caravans.
So turned the key now there was a few problems but again I was so fed up again children faces. So unpacked and off we went to get some fun. This comprised of Bingo, Quiz & a Film now I'm fully aware of this terrible virus but to be entertained in this manner with only say twenty people in the room. I was gob smacked.
Moving forward as mentioned before hours moved to check in we went on the beach towels got wet & sandy, so I thought would go to the laundrette no not working. No notice either so went to report it. This were my blood was boiling firstly I spoke to one of the advisers all i got was a load of waffle stating next & so on then a print off of local laundrettes.
The upsetting thing was standing near to an elderly gentleman he was explaining to another adviser that he had be broken into had stuff taken plus he had his grandchildren stopping with him. By all accounts he was being watched cause no sign broke in.
The Adviser well all I can say she must had been an insurance adviser before she stated write a list of this taken & so on. I was so upset I have been burgled few years ago to see the elderly gentleman in distress in front other people. What happened common decency & respect. I really can't get in out my head it as gulled me to the bone.
And the straw that broke the donkeys back night after went out all in our beds around eleven pm then midnight came with music booming out for hours again I rang their Security five times plus texted. The Worst nights sleep in years so in turn went to the office & reported it this time I already knew the outcome... There was an incident last night, but in fairest they said they will patrol my area that evening.
I'm really not interested now in caravans now, just priced up a hotel same area with family bedroom & breakfast cheaper price.
Yes used to come to this site many times. I'm not sure what message they are sending out to us all. I keep those options to my self.
I really would check all details of what you want out of this site.

We booked for three nights Friday to Monday when we arrived we were greeted by miserable reception staff, then we got in to the Aqua lounge and they told us food was on so we got refreshed back at the caravan and went to the Aqua lounge to be told sorry no chef I mean I had a toddler with me so she needed to eat so we had to use the Chinese takeaway which wasn't awful but not what I wanted. The next day we booked pottery painting so we arrived my little girl was excited to be told they hadn't turned up because only one child booked and we paid in advance also so again disappointed. Swimming pool was OK no slide and the life guards were miserable second time in the pool round lads were throwing balls around and being a general pain when life guard told them several times to calm down as a child was in the pool but they just got worse and no security onsite to help. Also when we left we forgot the blow up bath as my toddler hates showers within two hours of forgetting we were still in the resort and told them they said they hadn't found anything and it hadn't been cleaned yet but we can look so we did and it had been cleaned! So again we said it must of been taken they rang the cleaners and they said they had kt but can't bring it back for a day because they took it with them, luckily we were going to butlins so we said we would phone and pick it up. Two days later we finally got it back with no sorry or anything. Play area full of glass arcade dirty and nothing for younger children Only.good points were lucky the lion and the female dj host and the pizza takeaway and Lee the matanience guy

We stayed as a family of 6, our parents also came and had their own accommodation. We purposely paid for a gold caravan to get a better standard caravan and earlier check in, however we were contacted the day before to be told that we could not check in until 5pm due to COVID and the need to deep clean. Made no sense for everyone to turn up at the same time! When we arrived, the caravan was shabby, dated and not deep cleaned at all!. It hardly any utensils and there were items broken. If you want to cook in the caravan, be prepared to wait a long time as the oven is tiny and takes forever to heat up, same as the kettle! My parents stayed in a bronze caravan and apart from having a smaller TV, it was no different whatsoever, it even had 2 toilets where gold had one. So I would not waste your money on a gold standard, we paid about £300 to extra for nothing. There was no hoover, so you had to sweep the carpet, and a small bit of decking but no seating, so utterly pointless! Caravans are packed close together so if you do get a balcony you will literally be sitting within arms reach of your neighbours. If you get a bronze, they don’t make your bedding up, just Chuck it on the bed. If you get apartments, these were quite nice, but be aware that they are right next to the pub and the outdoor entertainment, literally right next to!
Swimming pool you had to book and turn up in swimwear, but that is expected with restrictions. Entertainment was good for kids, games of bingo and good music later on for adults and kids.
Good location, right across from the beach, short walk to fantasy island.
Overall we had a nice holiday with the family, but I certainly would not book again. You can get far better sites for the same price with much better facilities and caravans.

As an all female group we hired 6 caravans, with different services, gold, silver ,and 1 disabled.
On arrival we were told for the very first time that a £50 cash deposit was required for each van.
We were lucky and clubbed in, but a family who has not budgeted for an extra £50 this could mean the difference between a good holiday, and living on pasta for the last couple of days.
Once we eventually got keys and got into the van we were met by a barrage of instruction, which included
You must check out by 10am, late check will mean a fine of £10 an hour!!!
Beds must be stripped and laundry placed in bag provided, and put outside the caravan, or a fine will be imposed.
Bins must be emptied, into main wheelie bin, or, yes you've guessed it a fine will be imposed.
These instructions were imposed on all standards of service. So apart from the beds being made up on arrival don't go for gold, it's a rip off.
The van itself was clean and comfortable, but the wash basin is miniscule , there is nowhere to put a plug in, the drain is flush with the bottom of the sink.

Not sure what to say about this place, firstly, no public WiFi so not sure why they put that. Secondly the slide wasn’t working in the pool sink use using that centrepiece on your adverts. Why it wasn’t working was met with a shrug of the shoulders so not sure if we were just unlucky . Park isn’t well kept or maintained. Vans are very very close together. The hot water didn’t work, well it was hot but no pressure so unable to have a hot shower, repaired this each day and nothing was done. On the 3rd time of asking and after telling the receptionist I had previously reported this twice, I was asked “ did she fill in a job sheet” I explained I had no idea , to which I got told well she should have done or how are the maintenance supposed to know , as if it was my fault their staff hadn’t followed their own company reporting procedure. The shower didn’t work during our mon-fri stay. Caravan very basic and no storage space to speak of, beds uncomfortable but manageable for a few days, though not if you suffer from a bad back or similar. Some of the reception staff are in the wrong job, simple as that , the fact they don’t enjoy working there shines out .parking was ok, but not on the grass next to your van, if it rains and your car gets stuck they charge £100 for towing out. First place I’ve seen this threat , and that’s how it was presented .Bar staff are very friendly and efficient however and the entertainment good, with the game show night very good but wasn’t enough to make up for that low standard of the rest of the camp. Won’t go again

We arrived for a monday to friday break via the sun. A cock up on booking and had over charged us by 20 quid. Receptionist was clueless. Got a so called gaffer on the case. Also clueless. Tried to waffle his way out of it. When i calmly told him that it was in black and white on our bank statement showing the overcharge his only way to deal with it was to start shouting at me and my oap mother.
I had to walk away so i did not chin him!
Anyway gets to caravan which was ok. Had to park quite a way from it and carry luggage but not end of world. Van was clean but gas had been turned off so fire would not light. I sorted that. Cooker not light or boiler as both had ignition turned off! Water feed pipe leaking as well.luckilly i could fix all of these problems as my mum had her own van for years. If you did not know how to you would be stuck cos reception was shut and no out of hours contact number in with caravan key. Also had to leave a 50 quid deposit incash in case we trashed the van. They would not take a credit card payment. Said could not do that even though they had done that over the phone the previous week! Never in all the sites i have stayed at, and have stayed at a lot, have i been shouted at in reception by staff, had to leave a cash deposit or had a van with gas ignition etc switched off. And no out of ours contact number! Oh and they blamed the cock up over the booking on the sun. We have used the sun many times over last few years. Never a problem at any other camp. Did it ruin our holiday? Well yes. Eventually when handed key back a diff person in reception, this time with more than 2 brain cells gave us our 20 pounds back. Will we ever stay there again.no! The van was ok and the camp appx what we expected, but with the exception of the lass who we handed the keys to, a total bunch of muppets. Dont ever book a holuday at coastfields

I wouldn't no. It's over priced and full of drunks wanting to fight every night. Even the staff said when police turned up that it was normal, they are always there.
