I think this is such a beautiful location combined with the great accommodation provided by Banjara. Two cottages in the village renovated to provide all the luxuries you can hope for in a hotel. Loved the mattresses and not to forget the sumptuous cuisine laid our for us. Highly recommended. Actually not to be missed at any cost.

I visited Banjara Retreat in the first week of August’14 along with my wife & my 5.5 years old daughter & stayed for 2 nights & yes we were the only ones at the retreat/hotel during the stay. This hotel is located amidst the nature in a small village located just 5 kms before Jalori Pass on SH 11 &...

Spectacular drive just short of the Jalori Pass on a bend of the road overlooking a vast green valley lies this place almost hidden from the main road. Four dozen steep steps(appear eighteen dozen when climbing up) lead you to charming property surrounded by cabbage, potatoes and apple orchards. After a drive of two weeks through Kinnaur, Spiti, Lahaul valleys...

I booked this for a family trip in Apr'14. Experience with the booking staff was really bad. They misguided, oversold just like typical sales guys. Pros Banjara is at a great secluded location with amazing views. Hospitality by the Manager Rishi is outstanding. They try their level best to make you feel at home. Food is decent. Cons There is...

It is two hill homes, in the midst of a himachali village, just as you drive off the Jalori pass coming from Kulu. There are irises and daisies - the rooms are lovely and the balcony outside begs dreaming. You can sit and gaze at the mist in the valley, the trees outside, the sun on the hillside and sketch...

This was our first experience with banjara Shoja. After really long drive from chandigarh airport - this quaint little village made it look all really worthy! Overlooking the green expanse of tall deodhar trees, this property is located in absolutely non touristy area - making it retain its rustic and original himachali village charm. we stayed at the room down...

Hi, This is place is very strategically built in a valley overlooking awesome views. Sojha is a sleepy village with probably 5-6 shops. The population board depicts ~40. We went around Mar 30 last year while it was still snowing. En route to Jalori Pass, which is beautiful during winters with snow, this place would come, but one has to...
