I've been staying in this hotel for many years now. This was my hotel of choice when I go to Yuksom. Unfortunately with the change of management the quality of service has deteriorated in the recent past few years. The food in the kitchen has also suffered a similar fate. It is still a very beautiful property but there needs...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and without the helpful staff, our trip to Yuksom would have been a waste of time. We wanted to do the trek to Tashiding, but there was no guide available, so one of the staff members came along as our guide. Very good price/quality.

Tashigang is nice and quite place to stay in Yuksam. The environment is peaceful and quite with historic monuments around. Yuksam is also a base point for Kanchenjunga Trekking in Sikkim. Place is mostly inhabited by Lepcha Tribes who are thought to the ancestors of Japanese People.THere is Dubdu Monastery uphill , 45 minutes walk from Tashigang- One of the...

Very nice location. Attractive looking hotel with nice lawns. Mountain opposite is huge and lovely. The rooms are nice & comfortable. The service is OK. When we were here, we were the only ones in the entire hotel, as the season had just ended (that's what we were told by the boys). Electricity back up us not there. Even intercoms...

Dear Guest, We highly appreciate for your reviews. It was a good suggestion for us through your comments. As Yuksom is prone to heavy rainfall & Lightning the roads, electricity & intercom is the most affected. Any way we have managed the electricity back up for 24 X 7 & new Intercom for all the rooms. We are working hard...

A great choice for anyone doing the Dzongri or Goechi La treks. A basic hotel, clean, comfortable, and genuinely helpful staff. Sure they spend their spare time watching football in the lobby. But they hop up to deal with any request, with a smile. Restaurant is slow and often runs out of some menu items, but the food quality was...

Yoksum feels like a frontier town. And the hotel felt like a hotel in a frontier town. The façade of the building is lovely and the garden is well-tended. We had a comfortable bed in a spacious room (albeit with somewhat tired décor) and a lovely hot shower. The breakfasts were generous. But there seemed somehow to be a lack...

I stayed there only for a day though we had a booking of 2 nights. The reason been amidst the thunderstorm while during the power cut there is no power backup facility. Hence we decided not to stay there. But the view from room no 301 is undoubtedly the best thing. The view if Kabru peak and the behavior of...

We stayed here at the beginning and end of doing the Dzongri Trek with Himalayan Glacier. We arrived to a power cut which was unfortunate, but I imagine not unusual in such a remote location! The staff lit plenty of candles, and we enjoyed a beer whilst waiting for the power to return. Our first night here was less than...

A decent place in beautiful and easy-going Yuksom. Spacious and clean rooms (most of them with nice views), a pleasant outdoor garden area surrounding the hotel, helpful service from the staff (albeit a bit slow at times) and reasonable food (although little atmosphere and I recommend the various eateries on the main street of Yuksom instead). Well located for trekking...

A decent hotel that is geared for trekkers coming in and out, the operative word here is flexible and that is so essential for a trekking party with gear and stuff to stow away safe while on the trek. good service and hospitality. the hotel is also quite near the trek start pint and therefore convenient to start walking right...
