Lovely clean room with a large and very comfortable bed!! More of a little hotel than a guesthouse! Staff were straight to the point which I liked as just wanted to get on. Staff were helpful when I left my charger behind me and accommodated me to get it back.

Have stayed a couple of times now, as I visit family in the area once or twice a year. I used to use the likes of Premier Inn in Barnstaple, but the quality has gone down hill over there. A quick google search and I found the Cresta B&B. A clean, modern B&B, and so cheap! Both my visits were...

I was looking for somewhere to stay in Barnstaple as I was meeting up with an old friend, and was delighted to find the Cresta as it was very close to where they lived. Beyond this though I was also delighted to find a very attractive, clean and comfortable ensuite room, at a very reasonable rate with a very decent...

This visit was to reminisce where I spent my childhood holidays. Booked at fairly short notice, this hotel was easy to find in a good location for exploring North Devon. There is parking at the rear of the guest house. Rooms and beds are clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished, looks like it has been recently spruced up. Breakfast was excellent,...

Stayed for two nights so we could attend a family wedding. The booking process was easy and Peter took a deposit on my debit card which much less than stated on their website. I contacted them a few days before our trip to confirm arrival times and received a lovely email in return. When we booked in we could have...

Whilst Peter and Ann very much kept out of the way and were unintrusive, they were helpful when required. They allowed me to order a takeaway and given their good, central location, this was delivered speedily. Peter offered me a plate and cutlery which I thought was a nice touch. It was conveniently located close to the coast path and...

We stayed for 3 nights in June, nice comfy room with excellent cooked breakfast. Peter and Ann were perfect host, friendly but kept out of the way of guests. Good pub food only a few yards away in the Wrey Arms.

Found this place by chance when working in the area but will definitely be back when we're in the area. Not even any issues when we called and arrived in 10mins! It is clean, comfortable and friendly but doesn't give you the feeling of imposing that some guest houses give you. Room was spacious, with clean comfy beds and a...
