Good and quiet place to stay, near the Planai West /Rohrmoos ! skilifts. Food is good and plentiful, you will not get a choice of menus though. The owner Mr Raimund is very helpful and will try to do about anything he can. My only complaint will be the skiroom which is very small making it very difficult to get...

The hotel is well located for the town centre, 1 minute from the Planai West lift, and just 10 mins ( or 2 mins on free shuttle bus) walk from the main Planai lifts. The hotel itself is what you would expect of a 3 star budget hotel, fairly basic but clean and warm with a pleasant dining area and...

Small, warm & friendly hotel we booked through Crystal. Great local food, cheap booze selection, pleasant airy rooms, free WiFi throughout. Less than 200 metres from the nearest ski lift & a 5 min walk to the town centre. Very friendly staff & clean & tidy. Boot room on ground floor for ski gear.

We Stayed at Hotel Zum Kaiserweg (just the 2 of us as it was our Silver Wedding present) from the 24th January to the 31st January 2015 and specifically picked this week as we went to experience the Night Slalom ski race which was on our ever lengthening bucket list. With some trepidation (given a few of the reviews) we...

I was part of a group of 5 adults that stayed at the Zum Kaiserweg in late January 2015 for a ski week. I booked direct with the owner who was happy to secure two rooms with a small deposit. The Hotel is in a quiet road within walking distance to the town and literally 5 minutes walk ( in...

This hotel is a small family run establishment close to (50 -100m) Planai West and Rohrmoos I lifts, so you can access either area quickly. I booked 2 rooms at this hotel directly with them for my wife and I and 2 friends. I got a good feeling right from the off as the communication was excellent, replying to emails...

I am surprised at the reviews posted recently, obviously all from one group of guests. Raimund was unfailingly helpful, with a ready smile. Its a simple but warm and comfortable Gasthof. Our room and bathroom were quiet and spotless, soap dispenser always full, and a big big bathtub for a good soak. With a mountain view but no balcony. Plenty...

Excellent location but the hotelier did not appear to try to make us feel welcome. A hiccup in our bookingoccurred where the hotel apparently did not know we hadrequested a triple and a single room; while this was a problem caused by the tour operator the hotel did not volunteer any solution. We had to suggest that a bed or...

Kaiserweg, Inhaber at Hotel Zum Kaiserweg, responded to this review

The costumers had problems with the tour operator. The tour operator booked 2 twin bed rooms for 4 Adults. After arrival they told the rap, a person wants to sleep alone in a twin. But that wasn`t possible due to the fact that 3 adults can not sleep in one twin. Beforehand the check-in at our hotel the 4 people...

“If your thinking of going to the Night Race try and book your tickets in advance from the Schladming Night Race website. Also try and get tickets for the Blue areas or at least the Green Area. O and wrap up warm it dumped 200mm of snow during the race/night which just added to the amazing atmosphere.”
