This old mansión in Arcos de la Frontera has preserved the rustic spirit of the palaces from the Cadiz mountain range. In 1729, the Nuñez de Prado family built this "señorial" house at the heart of the town. In 1998, Elena Posa, fell in love with the house, and settled here determined to respect its authenticity but at the same time living in her own style, and she has transformed it into a small, quiet, and unique hotel.

We booked two rooms here for one night on the last weekend of October. We enjoyed our stay very much. Sherry upon arriving was lovely. Terraces were absolutely fantastic -- just beautiful views! Atrium and corridors were beautiful and interesting. Location was great. Rooms

Dear Jonathan L, Thank you so much for your review, feedback is important for us. We are happy to know you enjoyed the view, rooms...your stay. We take note of the issue regarding bathroom door and we will repair it. Regarding your complaint about your check out time, we kindly inform you that at recepcion desk there is a sign with reception opening times: 9am til 10pm. The sign is also in a leaflet in the room. When our guests inform us they need an early check out, we kindly ask them to make it the night before. In the future, we will make sure when our guests want to leave. We hope you will be back in the future. Best wishes, La Casa Grande

We were delighted! Took a bit of a struggle to locate La Casa Grande, particularly as we were pushing heavy bicycles in the old town, but we were warmly welcomed with oloroso sherry and a dish of olives and shown to a sweet room down in the bowels of the house with our own

Dear grandmumirene, Thank you for your nice review, we are happy you were delighted while in La Casa Grande! We like guests like you that appreciate the small details of our service as well as the autenticity of our Old Historic House, where we made little changes for a real experience of a18th century house. We hope you would be able to stay longer next time! Best wishes, La Casa Grande

This is a boutique hotel par excellence! Be careful to follow the hotel's access instructions which they send you in advance. The sat nav instructions will probably get your car wedged in a tiny street and are not to be trusted. If you're lucky enough to get a parking place in

Booked this hotel some 6 months ago and from their website, looked OK. Sadly we were very disappointed. Hotel very tired and still in times medieval! Definitely unsuitable for anyone over 50 as stairs are treatcherous!

Dear Davir T, First of all, thank you for taking your time to write a review of La Casa Grande. Although we are very surprised about what you write about us as the feedback when you stayed here was very different, you looked very happy here. And we didn't receive any complaint from your part regarding something wrong to be solved. We would have appreciated very much to know what was bad during your two night stay, so we can try to fix it. Most of our guests appreciate the experience at our 18th century house. We hope you would enjoy what is offered to you in the future. Best wishes, La Casa Grande

We just had one night in this rather grand house, and made the most of our room with terrace overlooking the big view. The accommodation was characterful but the bathroom desperately needs a revamp. The sliding door didn't fit the gap, kept coming off it's runner, and was more

What about parking our car????
Dear Maureen, The Cabildo Square is very close to our hotel and it is possible to park a car. It is on the Old Town. But also there is an underground parking at the bottom of the town, new part of the town.

Dear Sandy C, If we have well translated your question, you ask for restaurants and parking close by our hotel. We inform you there are a few restaurants around our hotel, on the Old Town. Regarding parking, the Cabildo Square is also closed to our hotel where there is a public parking. It is also possible to park the car in the new part of the town, in the underground parking place. Thank you for your interest in our hotel. Kind regards, La Casa Grande
