They picked us up on time from the airport, rooms were small but clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent with the option to eat it outside under the peach trees. They took us by minibus to the railway station in the morning and all this for approx £30 pppn. Would use this hotel again if coming in at the same airport...

I have to say that I didn't travel in 2011 as I've set for this review(but Tripadvisor doesn't give me the chance to choose a specific date) I've spent my summer holiday (in 2007) in Italy together with my wife. I have booked this hotel over the internet. Initially I've made my reservation for the entire period (2 weeks) but...

There are quite a few positives about Hotel Villa Maria Luigia, according to our experience there around the Easter weekend 2009. The staff, on the whole, were friendly. The rooms are pretty clean (although we could have done without the sliding, concertina-style plastic door to the bathroom). We had the cheapest room which was reasonable and other guests said the...

Friendly hotel in the countryside, although far from Frascati, (further than 2km!) we found the shuttle transfer easy and convienient. When we did attempt to get the public bus it never seemed to turn up when we expected, it turned out the hotel had e-mailed me an old timetable that we had been relying on. So they gave us an...

Stayed one night on our way to southern Italy. Some problems to find the hotel but once there you can't imagine you are so close to Rome. Basic room but clean and ok. Very helpful staff the breakfast was surprisingly good. If you wan't a close location to Rome but out of the traffic this is the perfect place to...

We stayed here before catching our flight back. We booked this because they offered a family room so we could have our 2 kids in with us. We had a hire car and I guess it took us about 20 mins to get to the airport because we had to stop and ask the way a couple of times as...

A nice little place a few miles from Frascati. Positives - good customer service, free shuttle service to town, set in pleasant gardens. Negatives - pretty basic The only problem with this hotel was that the website indicates that they will pick you up from Frascati when you arrive. This is not the case, the shuttle only picks up at...

The staff here are certainly helpful but if you're taking public transport here, then you better not arrive late. The last train from Rome's centre is before 10pm. Due to an earlier delay, we only got as far as Ciampio train station but the hotel was extremely good and picked us up from there. The bigger problem is the proximity...

We stayed at Villa Maria Luigia last May. We wanted an inexpensive hotel to stay in while visiting the archaeological sites of Rome and 9am and back at 7pm or 10pm. It was like our own special taxi service and, with the exception of the airport trip, was included in our hotel fee. We only ate in the hotel once,...

As our Rome flight didn't arrive til midnight we chose the option of a cheap hotel for a few hours kip before continuing with our journey the next day. We managed to get a low cost rate of only 53 euros and whilst the hotel is nothing flash it is clean and quite endearing. It is a nightmare to find...
