this is a lovely historic old pub, restaurant and B an B. The atmosphere is welcoming, cosy and friendly. The hosts, John and Sue, and the rest of the staff cannot do enough for you. We stayed for a weekend and had some memorable meals all home cooked by Sue. The menu has something for everyone, and any dietary requirements...

Wonderful home cooked food great portions. Fabulous choice specials board Warm cosy friendly atmosphere . Good service. Can't wait to return with our friends. Well recommended picturesque surroundings full of charm and characteristic . Set in quiet location

I stayed for one night, but sadly again not eating there in the evening, but I did have lunch which was superb and they definitely want you to feel full afterwards! A reputation for good food and not disappointed. Good quality food and friendly service, absolutely no complaints. However, desserts are expensive and the wine even more so. I am afraid that £6.25 for a large glass of Stowells on draught is way over the top for what is little more than plonk. So that made lunch for two almost £50...

Had a delightful meal which was extremely good value. Only complaint after having the mushrooms as a starter my partner was unable to do his mixed grill justice!!. Prawns with chilli dip were very good. Looking forward to going again
