We have stayed here two years running now as the hotel is only a 6 minute drive from the Nurburgring. The hotel itself is very traditionally German with some breathtaking views of the mountains. It sits in the village on Jamelshofen which sits at the bottom of a dormant volcano that you can take nice hikes up through the woods...

Spent 3 nights with friends as we were motorbiking in the area. The hotel is 7 minutes drive from Nurbergring, which is excellent if you are into the track. Our group of drivers stayed here for a few nights during our tour of Germany. The staff are friendly and speak English, but they'll also be patient with you if you want to practice your German.
