It is placed in a village which was the historically the possession of the local prince. The houses are all very low giving a typical Italian landscape...

PROS: Area very safe. Sonia and family welcoming, warm, and accommodating when they could. White room - excellent bed (we bought same mattress for our home!) and bedding, lots of storage space which was great as we spent a week there, very adequate breakfast with made to order coffee, juices, meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, fresh fruit and all available until...

Very nice place, beautiful surroundings, new and perfecly clean room. Handmade breakfast, staff is nice and kind. Low price compared to the services offered. The place is 5 minutes walk from the sea and 15 minutes by car from Trieste. They rent bikes for free and you can relax by the pool during spring and summer. Rooms are all different...

“If you want air conditioning check before you book. Bedding was the wonderful (we bought the same mattress when we got home!). The White room was the only room downstairs away from others so very private with private patio but next to breakfast room (through a door) if you don't want to hear chinking of china in the morning.”
