we spent four nights in this hotel including DINNER ? .thank god the other bars we visited provided snacks ! having been lucky enough to travel fairly world wide, never before have I been served an evening meal with only one vegetable. Monday spinach, Tuesday a half of apple ( yes that was the veg ) wed cauliflower, thurs green beans, and not a large amount, although there were sometimes seconds of the veg. we asked for a jug of water and were told only in a bottle. we were charged SIX EUROS for a bottle of tepid tap water, other than the high prices ( TEN EUROS FIFTY FOR A V ODKA AND COKE,ABOUT TEN POUNDS )the hotel was clean and tidy, but to have a captive audience and not realise their worth seems the only way to describe the situation, sorry but not again for us
Thank ustwo538

Good breakfast but a lousy room service. Rooms very small, ridiculous to be without shower and without heating. A hotel to not go back to more. Poor soundproofing, you hear everything from the other rooms. A room for 3 people and only put 2 bath towels. It was ridiculous to run out of toilet paper. Wi-Fi non-existent. Very bad.

I came here with a friend and we had 2 single rooms.
We booked parking as the hotel is located in The centre of the shops and fronts on to a pedestrian area so there is very little parking around other than to park at the hotel they know this hence the steep €15 A night...
The Hotel is very well presented and set out and I would rate the lounge and reception as a 4 star hotel with friendly staff who are attentive.
The room I wouldn't even give 1 star with dirty carpet and stained pillow case and duvet ,very small and in all honesty I have slept in better hostels the shower worked well with hot water on demand. The TV worked but all British speaking channels had bad connection so had to watch foreign channels with sound off.
Breakfast was amazing and a near 5 star with a great selection and even a pianist playing on Sunday morning. Never have I stayed in a place that was so good but so bad at the same time!!
Taking everything in to consideration for what we paid I think we did get good value but if I stayed here again I would certainly look for a better room (if there are any) or bring my own pillow and sleeping bag.

Stayed here recently for three nights. Bedroom; Small, clean sparsely furnished. Free safe although it says 1 Euro per night, key operated forget the number pad. Bathroom. Very small. Shower. Even smaller. No obese people please! Clean with adequate soft towels. Tele. Dutch speaking channels only. Clock radio. Not working. Freebies. Soap and shoe polish cloth, shower cap. One bad thing, the pillow was lumpy. Leisure areas. Very good there is a hotel Parrot that speaks and whistles in the lounge. Depending on your point of view, amusing but can be irritating as it keeps wolf-whistling. Breakfast Buffet. I have never come across a better one. Huge choice including Cava so you could mix your own Bucks Fizz if you wanted to. They have invented a system that avoids wasting eggs. You order your egg at the table, there is a choice of scrambled, fried or omelette. Be warned the Omelette is not the classic version it is a folded thin layer of set scrambled egg. The owner told me that "this was the Belgium/Dutch version." We agreed to differ! Hard boiled are on the buffet. Overall a well run, clean hotel with a very adequate breakfast buffet. Excellent value for the money.

We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms, so they were basic.
The room is small but clean and everything you need is there.

We used the private wellness for 2 hours and it's great for a rainy day.
It has a sauna, hammam, big jaccusi, walk-in shower and relax beds.

The breakfast is very nice. It's not a big buffet, but everything is there, and the quality is great with fresh fruit salad and home-made marmalade. You can taste all products are top quality.
Thank Rik D
