We have booked a suite for two nights from the 1st of July to the 2nd a few years ago. The bad experience is however very fresh in my mind and from the comments I can see I am not the only unhappy client of this hotel. Since my husband and I only take a few days holiday every year...

Nice and very clean hotel at the seaside. Difficult to reach and lack of warmth and friendliness at reception at first. We had a rather small room but an excellent large one piece matras bed. Breakfast was also very nice with a large variety of bread and fruit.

I can suggest this hotel if you are up for throwing your money out for something I would call "better hostel". The minibar - Fail ! Two beers and water in it. The valet-parking - way to expansive (25 bugs per night.) Wifi up in the room - fail! They told us that there would be a problem and a...

Hotel Des Nations is a very good boutique.hotel. It is family owned and run. Strong points are clean, small, modern bathroom facilities, underground parking (additional cost) and the only hotel directly on the beach and on the boardwalk in the area. If you like walking, upscale shopping, good food and being directly on the beach, then this is the place...

The service at the reception was friendly We stayed in a room with a sea view. The view was phantastic. The view is stunning; however the room was clean but very basic. There was some rubbish next to the bin, but for some reason the cleaner never saw it. It was still there three days later. It would be pleasant...

Crooks is the only way I can describe the proprietors of this hotel. We reserved 2 rooms 8 weeks prior to arrival. At the time we made the reservation we asked what the hotel's cancellation policy was. We were told cancellation was allowed up ti 3 weeks in advance. Due to an illness, we cancelled 7 weeks in advance (...

Upon arrival we immediately felt welcome. The reception was most friendly. Our room had a perfect view. The night was very quiet and we could only hear the waves. At breakfast the service was warm and friendly and we enjoyed a good breakfast with fresh products.

I would like to tone down a bit the review of CatBxl. Hotel des Nations is okay for a four star hotel. The location can't be beaten (really in the centre AND on the beach of Knokke, near Le Zoute, etc...), and already copes for three of the four stars. Our room on the eigth floor had a breathtaking view...

Where does one start? This is the worst place I've ever stayed. Location is the only positive point the rest is down hill. Booked two sea view luxury suites at 450 Euros each for a whole week. Just to find out at arrival that work was being done on the floor above and so was awoken to the sound of...

“Ask for a room facing the ocean. Great view unless you mind the sound of stakes being hammered into the sand for windbreaks every morning at 6:00am. We didn't mind.”
