We , two couples, spent in this hotel 3 nights in The beginning on september 2016. Our room was average but bathroom was quite big and beautiful. Our rõõm Windows were over the restaurant and the view was amazing, to the town square, restaurants, palmtrees and medieval houses. Breakfast was great. Fresh croissants, bread, butter, cheese, ham, eggs, yoghurt, coffee.... More

A good location, in a middle of Bormes les Mimosa and some 10 minutes from the coast with a beautiful view on the sea. Rooms a comfortable although a bit oldish, especially as far as bathrooms are concerned. If refurbished, it would be a much nicer venue.

Large rooms, however, on entering the bathroom the past residents hairs and rubbish were in the bins . The cleaners hadn't bothered to clean? The floors , especially in the bathroom were absolutely filthy. The bath Matt was dirty after being on the floor. Breakfast was very haphazard at the best. One morning ok the next awfull. I wouldn't bother... More

The Hostellerie du Cigalou is a very nice small classic French hotel. Our room was very spacious, clean and well lit. The bath room was very large with a tub shower combination. There was only a hand held shower tap. The TV had cable channels so there was two English speaking stations. The swimming pool was large and very nice.... More

Location? Perfect, well situated in the small village. Room was very nice with view over the Mediterranean sea, over (Le Lavandou). Free parking 100 meters from the hotel. Free access to swimming pool, which was perfect spot to cool off during summer. The only thing was the bathroom. The bathtub was not too practical. It was well designed with a... More

We spent three nights here in mid June. The hotel is in the middle of a charming village full of flowers and parking in the nearby public car park was plentiful, though it really would be sensible to create a bay for loading and unloading, as the place is on a hairpin bend. The old village has a lot of... More

This place is just fine. Seems like it's the best game in town though, strangely there are no luxury choices in Bormes, even though the village itself is one of the most charming I've been to. The room was clean but the sheets were old and stained, the mattress was cheap and uncomfortable, and the room was strangely laid out.... More

Quality location, accommodation and food. Even out of season the hotel provided excellent accomodation. The staff could not have been more helpful and don't be put off by the lack of parking, free public parking is very close and convenient.

It was a beautiful little Hotel in the midst of a Dream village in South France. We overlooked the picturesque village and the valley and it was so quiet. We could have stayed longer, had we no time limitation. The rooms were so tastefully done and there were flowers at bedside. Just dream stay.

We stayed 1 night at the hotel and we loved the location. It is near a nice small street with many shops. The hotel has a restaurant with delicious food. The rooms that face the street might be a bit noisy in the mornings when the municipality service starts to clean the street. The stuff was polite.
