I would put 5 stars because location and bungalow were top! However in afternoon we left we got very unpleasant suprise. E-mail from customer service and 75 € charged for cleaning. For not throwing the 3 bags of trash !!! Hello!! Seriously??? Our group of 4 friends cleaned all before leaving since we are not pigs. We had clean the dishes after lovely breakfast in the tarrace ( actually service let us stayed longer and we stayed just to make sure we clean all) - unfortunately there was no cloth to dry plates and pans neither the stander to get them dry. We left them on a kitchen counter organized - not to put them wet in cupboards. We divided all trash into organic , plastic and glass an paper. Cleaned all tables etc. Unfortunately according to the owners of camping we left mess and the price they charged is not adequate. We were informed that all info regarding tips of cleaning the house was in QR code on wall. We came to relax not to check the mobile ….( Wi-Fi’s details was not working to mention as well) I find it inappropriate and tricky not informing about the cleaning duty by check in. This is on purpose to get the extra money from guests…. We were informed about rules of handbands wearing in zone of camping , about facilities about parking spot so why this info was not clear! Even though place was super awesome the bad feeling stays and we feel cheated… so watch out for any additional charges that might come. Ask for everything in details … because otherwise you will be left with such unpleasant feeling of being basically fkd up with your money. 75 € ????!!…
If you want to rest this is NOT the place. Night after night we have had to deal with music and screaming without anyone acting on it. Also, the last night we stayed there, a teenager vomited right in front of our tent at 3am. Regrettable. Our stay at the campsite was so horrible that we were forced to leave the site despite having paid for everything. The organization does not declare their responsibility for anything and does not offer any kind of compensation. In fact, they did not answer us neither by phone nor by email.
The huge plus is that there are 4 beaches within walking distance of the camp site. The walk though could be a challenge to people with small children as the beaches are down steep steps. The nudist beach could do with a clean up (tags sprayed on the rocks and sometimes litter ). Not that keen on having dogs on the beach but hey ho. The campsite is on hills facing the sea so most pitches have a great view. Our first pitch was very near the sea but we moved because our neighbours partied every night. We moved into the centre of the campsite and liked it much more... a much bigger pitch, quieter, near the toilets and washing up area and easy access to the beaches. Everyone near our pitch was Spanish/Catalan and overall there was a real mix of nationalities (not just French). The toilets are only cleaned twice a day though...definitely not enough on such a big campsite. They should have a cleaner there all day like they used to. The entertainment was good, a bit noisy some nights (Karaoke!) but it seemed popular and finished by 11.30pm and it was in Spanish and French so a nice balance. We go to Cala Yay Yay for the beaches and to dip our toes into the sea and a bit of the Spanish lifestyle so we were (as usual) happy to be back!…
The Chalet was really nice and they allaud pets, which is really great. But the quality of services is quite low for the price we paid. In the bar you had to wait a while before getting served, there were not enough waiters. The take away food was not really of high quality and neither were the evening shows. The shop was closed between 1pm and 6pm, in the middle of august. If you change the service you will have more succes, because the camping is on a beautiful spot and the personal on the camping is really polite.
We went for a weekend and used the allotment for camping tents. We pre-booked which was easy and fast and we received a warm welcomed at the reception as the staff was so friendly and informative (they even told us about the wildboards that roam the camping at night so we were not surprised when we crossed one) We were very pleased with the location of the camping next to several small beaches (calas) and with the proximity to Tossa de Mar (we highly recommend doing the walk/hike there. It is easy and it takes about an hour walk) The facilities were great too and you have all you need there (supermarket that opens 7 days a week, clean toilet/showers and area to clean dishes/clothes, reception with ATM cash point, swimming pool and stage with evening entertainment next to it, easy to park your car, etc.) I would have given the camping a 5* if it wasn't for the onsite restaurant that deserves a zero star rating. The poor service at the restaurant was a massive let down (and I do not mean the waiters that actually were friendly and were doing the best they could or the quality of the food that was indeed fine) The problem was that they were severely understaffed. The restaurant was not even full but the first evening we had to wait 1.5 hours for a couple of pizzas. By the time we got them we were starving and we were not the only ones as we saw the same frustration on other tables. Next morning we went to the café-restaurant to have a coffee and once again we were very disappointed. It opens at around 9 or 9h30 am and by 11h00am they were serving the coffee in plastic cups because all the mugs were dirty. They only had one person at the restaurant that had to deal with the orders, prepare and deliver the drinks/breakfast and obviously did not have enough time to clean the tables and do the dishes. So as you can see in the photos all tables were also full of dirty dishes from previous customers. I was shocked that on one hand the camping was doing so many efforts to keep everyone safe following extra measures and covid safety protocols (for instance the signs and info at reception or at the toilets/showers, etc) and on the other hand they had the restaurant full of dirty tables and dirty plates everywhere. Before I left the camping I mentioned this at the reception, so I hope that the camping management does something about it to improve it for its coming guests. It is really a shame because they have a fantastic camping and the restaurant is letting them down. Meanwhile I will recommend travelers that go to the camping but drive somewhere else to eat or bring/cook their own food onsite to avoid depending on that restaurant.…
