We went for a weekend and used the allotment for camping tents. We pre-booked which was easy and fast and we received a warm welcomed at the reception as the staff was so friendly and informative (they even told us about the wildboards that roam the camping at night so we were not surprised when we crossed one)
We were very pleased with the location of the camping next to several small beaches (calas) and with the proximity to Tossa de Mar (we highly recommend doing the walk/hike there. It is easy and it takes about an hour walk)
The facilities were great too and you have all you need there (supermarket that opens 7 days a week, clean toilet/showers and area to clean dishes/clothes, reception with ATM cash point, swimming pool and stage with evening entertainment next to it, easy to park your car, etc.)
I would have given the camping a 5* if it wasn't for the onsite restaurant that deserves a zero star rating. The poor service at the restaurant was a massive let down (and I do not mean the waiters that actually were friendly and were doing the best they could or the quality of the food that was indeed fine) The problem was that they were severely understaffed. The restaurant was not even full but the first evening we had to wait 1.5 hours for a couple of pizzas. By the time we got them we were starving and we were not the only ones as we saw the same frustration on other tables.
Next morning we went to the café-restaurant to have a coffee and once again we were very disappointed. It opens at around 9 or 9h30 am and by 11h00am they were serving the coffee in plastic cups because all the mugs were dirty. They only had one person at the restaurant that had to deal with the orders, prepare and deliver the drinks/breakfast and obviously did not have enough time to clean the tables and do the dishes. So as you can see in the photos all tables were also full of dirty dishes from previous customers. I was shocked that on one hand the camping was doing so many efforts to keep everyone safe following extra measures and covid safety protocols (for instance the signs and info at reception or at the toilets/showers, etc) and on the other hand they had the restaurant full of dirty tables and dirty plates everywhere.
Before I left the camping I mentioned this at the reception, so I hope that the camping management does something about it to improve it for its coming guests. It is really a shame because they have a fantastic camping and the restaurant is letting them down.
Meanwhile I will recommend travelers that go to the camping but drive somewhere else to eat or bring/cook their own food onsite to avoid depending on that restaurant.

Hello, and thank you for your return, I also identified our difficulties at the restaurant and we are doing everything we can to solve them. This year has been so special that it is very difficult to succeed in maintaining an optimal performance on the restoration. Hoping to receive you under other conditions. cordially

The Chalet was really nice and they allaud pets, which is really great. But the quality of services is quite low for the price we paid. In the bar you had to wait a while before getting served, there were not enough waiters. The take away food was not really of high quality and neither were the evening shows. The shop was closed between 1pm and 6pm, in the middle of august. If you change the service you will have more succes, because the camping is on a beautiful spot and the personal on the camping is really polite.

Beautifully located with rather nice facilities.
The restaurant ran out of food by 20h30.
The men bathroom was absolutely disgusting.
Our campsite was invaded by a wild boar during the night. When we contacted the camping emergency number, they said they would come but never did.

The huge plus is that there are 4 beaches within walking distance of the camp site. The walk though could be a challenge to people with small children as the beaches are down steep steps. The nudist beach could do with a clean up (tags sprayed on the rocks and sometimes litter ). Not that keen on having dogs on the beach but hey ho.
The campsite is on hills facing the sea so most pitches have a great view. Our first pitch was very near the sea but we moved because our neighbours partied every night. We moved into the centre of the campsite and liked it much more... a much bigger pitch, quieter, near the toilets and washing up area and easy access to the beaches. Everyone near our pitch was Spanish/Catalan and overall there was a real mix of nationalities (not just French).
The toilets are only cleaned twice a day though...definitely not enough on such a big campsite. They should have a cleaner there all day like they used to.
The entertainment was good, a bit noisy some nights (Karaoke!) but it seemed popular and finished by 11.30pm and it was in Spanish and French so a nice balance.
We go to Cala Yay Yay for the beaches and to dip our toes into the sea and a bit of the Spanish lifestyle so we were (as usual) happy to be back!

The service used to be very good but this year the appartment was very bad. Communication with the organisation upfront was very difficult. We constantly received emails with wrong information. Wifi is impossible on the camping, the swimming pool at the appartment has no shade, no parasols, old and broken sunbeds. No bar or toilet. Talking to the owner of the camping resulted in shoutings. The owner is really an idiot. Very agressive to us. The information on the website is outdated and long story short: we paid an enormous amount of money for our stay and it was a joke.

We’ve been coming as a family since 2011. We’ve had this holiday booked since 2019 but obviously with covid we haven’t been able to come until now. It was lovely to be back but unfortunately since it’s been taken over there has been quite a few noticeable changes which made out experience a bit of a let down, especially after waiting for a few years to return.
General ware and tear of the facilities are now very noticeable as some tiles cracked, new shower heads definitely needed (not been changed in the many years we’ve been coming) not all the lights in the showers work which makes it a bit dark, especially in the evening. Also a new one for this year, the bracelet for the bathroom doors. I noticed not all the blocks have a door and the one down by us didn’t bode well with other campers. It was loud, creaked and slammed shut, felt very sorry for the campers closer to the shower block. Another thing as well, very LOUD music being played in the bathrooms… it could be heard from out pitch which was a while away. I’m all for people playing music but there was a big lack of consideration for other campers this year with that, people talking loudly to early hours of the morning, dogs non stop barking with the owners not seeming to try and quiten them down. Before the campsite was taken over someone used to come round at 11pm and make sure we were all being quite which I think they 100% should bring back. Shouldn’t be down to camper to have to tell their neighbours to be quite at 1am in the morning as they can’t sleep.
They’ve upped their entertainment this year which was lovely but again, very loud. We’re near the bottom of the site far away from the pool area but we could always hear the blaring music even down here, felt sorry for anyone who was camping right next to it. Also the beloved beach bar on the smaller beach has gone! We were in complete shock as it was absolutely lovely and very surprised it had gone, and dare I say it a lot better than the other one round the corner.
The campsite is great and full of entertainment but from our previous experiences it was a lot better before sea green took over. We felt like there wasn’t a moments peace on the campsite, always something blaring whether it he form up too or inconsiderate people in the bathrooms or neighbours. It was a family owned business before so we felt like there was more of a need to keep things top notch as it was their families reputation on the line, now it’s just another average chain. It maybe your thing and you love it since they’ve taken over but unfortunately we won’t be returning next year which is a shame as it was our family
Holiday we’d look forward to every year.

If you want to rest this is NOT the place.
Night after night we have had to deal with music and screaming without anyone acting on it. Also, the last night we stayed there, a teenager vomited right in front of our tent at 3am. Regrettable.
Our stay at the campsite was so horrible that we were forced to leave the site despite having paid for everything. The organization does not declare their responsibility for anything and does not offer any kind of compensation. In fact, they did not answer us neither by phone nor by email.

My family of four enjoyed a week stay in one of the wooden lodges with 3 bedrooms. Very good accommodation more than adequate for a weeks stay. Great check in, very informative. My children enjoyed the swimming pool on a daily basis but for us the jewel in the crown is the beach. Beautiful! Be ready for a climb back up the hill though, we didn’t use it but regular transport up and down is available. The beach has a couple of bars/restaurants both very good. Good showers also. We also enjoyed the kayaks on the beach. The site has entertainment which was aimed at a more younger audience. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant which was pretty good especially for our teenagers! We used the on-site shop for supplies, good choices. All in all a great stay and would definitely recommend.

It is Not a caravan friendly camping and it is probably not camping-car friendly too, the staff is incompetent at their job and I could not get a refund.
I do not recommend this camping and it is overrated. Zero out of five star.
Have a nice day

This is a great campsite beautiful location and kind staff. The only, really big issue is the noise whenever animation activities occur. Our kids just did not want to participate in morning or evening events because if the nois. Please, tune the volume down. Its really, really a killer of the pleasure we experienced without the noise.

Hi,
We are also heading there in august! It’s a stunning site
It all depends on the pitch you will be allocated as some are bigger than others. I wound recommend sending them an email and asking for a large one.
We have been to Cala llevado 6 times but the last time was 10 years ago so probably lots have changed since. You used to be able to arrive and go and chose pitch yourself.
Are you driving?
,thanks
Karolina
YES, a bracelet, if you want to go to the swimming pool. The place has changed lately, it's getting worse...
Good morning,
We have some bbq in the campsite in every area. They are common bbq and you have to bring your own grill.
Thank you, hope to see you soon !
Sorry, but you are speaking with another enterprise. We have never any groups of young people and no professors at all!!!!!!!
The groups you are speaking about belongs to another company. The camping only works with familys...
