This is a large hotel used mainly by TUI/Thomson/FirstChoice packages. It's a large modern building with 600 rooms. It was full when we were there but never seemed crowded. It's not perfect, so here are a few things to be aware of: None of the corridors have carpets, so at night you will hear other residents returning to their rooms,...

We had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. I can't add anything more than has already been written- everything was great- food, service etc. However, it was spoilt by some selfish people reserving prime location sunbeds from around 6am - and then not using them until 10 or 11am! There are signs round the pool & it's mentioned in the...

Small busy hotel with friendly staff Rooms ok but a little cramped but clean and good bathrooms Loungers in pool very tightly paced like sardines Hotel passes a pain - please trust your customers if we want to annoy you there are many other ways There is no feedback system so they are clearly out if touch with their customers...

We've just returned from our first trip to Gran canaria, we stayed at this hotel (2 adults & 1 child ). First impressions were excellent, reception staff very good (Melian I think) advised us to get some dinner and then come back to check in as we arrived about 8.45pm which was great! We were given our room and lots...

We enjoyed our week long stay in this hotel, rooms were spacious, clean and had clearly been recently updated. The grounds and pool area were spacious and well maintained, there was separate adult and childrens pools. The food was varied with plenty of choice, we booked the Asian specialty restaurant at no extra charge which was really tasty. The staff were...

Very good throughout. Room good, morning sun, overlooking pool at side of hotel. Food high standard, never tempted to eat out. Dishes replenished promptly. Loads of sunbeds around the 3 pool areas, difficult to get one in the morning at the infinity pool, as the "no booking" rule was not enforced, but no probs at the other areas or later...

Room positions vary but the standard is high throughout. It's a great hotel; it was our 2nd visit since the modernisation - though we had been 3 times before that! Staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is good and, yippee, they've improved the wine! Last year that was my only whinge because it was pretty poor but it...

Visited as part of a Thomson all inclusive holiday in February this year and although the hotel is not "stunning" or "breath taking" in it's architecture or room design it does pretty much everything you want and need for a week away in the Winter Sun. The hotel itself is situated at the Melonoras (Western side) of Maspalomas and is...

Lovely hotel in a great location. Hotel room basic, but clean and comfortable. I liked the walk in shower as opposed to stepping into a bath and it was powerful enough. Towels could do with updating, small, rough, and dingy coloured. Food is very good at all of the restaurants. We tried the Asian and the Grill (which have to...

We stayed in a swim up suite directly in front of the sea. It was fabulous but make sure you have a room which is not directly underneath the dining room as the grating of chairs at 07.30 wakes you up. Book a room underneath the infinity pool and purple bar. We were surprised to see a cabinet with optics...
