Hotel really caters to elders. I wouldn't recommend for anyone 40 (I'm 34 years old) and under unless budget is the reason for staying. Staff was less than desirable and not helpful at all. Servers were rude and unfriendly as if you were doing them an injustice by requesting their service. Room wasn't all that clean to include the bathroom... More

We visited this hotel and Malta for a last minute break before winter. The hotel was above average for an all inclusive and looks like some refurbishment had been completed, not much of a beach. However, the restaurant staff and bar staff are very polite and ensure that your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. This time of year sees more... More

We liked everything about this holiday. The hotel is nice - staff are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great - rooms looking out on the sea. The animation team work really hard to keep everyone entertained all day and every evening.

We stayed here for a last bit of sun This is a large complex consisting of about six interconnected blocks and boasts of being on the beach Unfortunately the beach was covered in black seaweed which had drifted in from Italy due to the recent earthquakes and by the time we left was quite smelly We booked through Thompsons who... Just spent a couple of weeks at this hotel with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and overall the experience was quite positive. I was aware when I booked our holiday, with Thomsons, that the beds were twin beds, so I sent an email off to the hotel, to request the beds to be made into a double bed.... More

A stunning location, with wide views of a spctacular bay, sploilt by a very tired fabric of the hotel. Excellent service in the restaurant, with a wide choice of foods. However, we had to pay for the table water (?)

Stayed the first week in November. Friendly efficient check in. Given room 37 on ground floor which had a few steps up to the small balcony and had a wonderful view through the gardens to the sea. The room was very clean and had adequate storage with a free safe, hairdryer and small fridge. The restaurant was bright modern and... More

This was probably the sixth time that I have stayed at the Mellieha Bay Hotel but this was by far the one I felt more let down about. As usual the food was excellent it always is. The room again was also more than adequate but I think what let them down this time was the Animation team they didn't... More
