We had our wedding reception at Fanhams Hall Hotel in October. There are two parts to review, the customer service in the run up to the wedding and the day itself. The planning went pretty smoothly. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and professional. We had numerous visits including a tasting which were all great. I was...

Booked a two night stay for a friends wedding and my goodness, what a fantastic experience we had. Fanhams hall and its grounds are just superb, the most wonderful architecture, impeccable fixtures and fittings with lots of little alcoves to wile an hour or so in peace. We were allocated the "Archway" room, just across the courtyard from the main entrance....

When you drive up to the house you feel you are at the wrong place. This is a mighty awe inspiring building. You half expect to see a carriage waiting outside for the lady of the manor. Our room was in the courtyard and unfortunately a little drafty. It was heated by one radiator which was connected to the main...

Stayed in this hotel with my partner. On booking we weren't sure what to expect but definitely didn't expect what was there. Ware as a town was a very nice place and great views. On arrival both of us literally dropped our jaws at the entrance. Was very castle like entrance with the long drive way and high walls. We...

Beautiful building, gardens and location. Perfect for visiting family and friends in the area. With a very good breakfast included it made it cheaper to stay there than the Premier Inn. It also had its own bars and a good restaurant. A log fire in the lounge was also a cosy place to read the newspapers.

Fanhams Hall is the perfect venue for any special occasion. We got married here this October and were over the moon with our venue choice. Every one of our guests commented on how nice the venue is and how attentive the staff were. Jonathan (operations manager) looked after us and ensured our wedding day as successful as it was. We...

A lovely comfortable quiet room with an amazing ensuite shower room. Beautiful gardens and the house is steeped in history. We only had breakfast at the hotel preferring to eat during our days out - the breakfast is a buffet style with everything you would want but eat earlier rather than later as the day we came down nearer the...

This is a truly beautiful hotel with stunning grounds. Coming in Autumn means the trees look spectacular as they change colour so are perfect for wedding photos. We stayed here to celebrate our sister's wedding and the whole day was perfect. The staff were very efficient and professional and Jonathan (wedding coordinator) made sure everything ran smoothly throughout. There are...

As you approach the hotels grandiose and wonderful surroundings it feels a bit special, the staff are friendly and helpful , but and its a big but, the staffing levels appear to be at a bare minimum, if you would like a drink from the bar expect at least a 5-10 minute wait, the food that is served is of...
