We initially visited here completely by chance - needing somewhere to shelter from the rain. We had two dogs with us, so the board announcing 'very dog friendly' was welcome. Myself, my husband nd my in-laws plus canines were made extremely welcome. We sat in the lounge end and had coffees and afternoon cakes. The service was fantastic, coffee and...

Popped in here after walking the dog. It was warm, cosy, full of character with papers and books to read and very friendly welcome from the lady and a chew for my dog! We will be popping back for cake next time.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are always so pleased when we hear that our visitors have had a positive experience with us either in the Bed and Breakfast or as in your case the café. And we are even happier to hear that we will be welcoming you again at some point...

My partner and I stopped for a cream tea and it was amazing. Freshly made scones (still warm) local cream and jam, beautiful view and a lovely owner. Would definitely recommend a visit if in St.Austell, Truro or any surrounding areas!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. It is lovely when our customers tell us how much they have enjoyed our cream tea's but it's really nice of you to put it in writing. We try to make small batches of scones through out the day so they are never long out of...

OK, so it makes sense this place, being convenient for Heligan, Mavagissey , Eden project and a large beach 5 minutes walk away. Plus, there is a pub with a good reputation for food around the corner, with other eating places a tad further afield. Perhaps a downside is the constant vigilance needed to secure parking, as there is none...

It was a genuine pleasure to have you and your rather wonderful wife stay with us for the time you were at The Cove and I must thank you for such a comprehensive review. Having stayed here before I wanted to stay again and was glad a cancelation meant I could stay here again. I stayed in the stable which is situated just outside the main building and is perfect for anyone who wants to bring their dog. it is a lovely room with is own unique style. Although there is no onsite parking,...

It was really nice to welcome you back to The Cove for the third time and to meet your brilliant dog Frank for the first time. Yes the Stable is the best room for dogs as it has it's own direct entrance, but we do allow them into the main building as well as all the rooms are big enough...

My wife and I stayed here for four days last week and we can honestly say it's the best B & B we have ever stayed at. The room was exactly what we requested, the breakfast was plentiful, but most importantly all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

We called in for breakfast mid week. The staff were so friendly. If we weren't such happy campers, I'd love to stay at the b&b. The decor is fascinating and the chap ther was full of stories. The food was perhaps the best breakfast I've ever eaten. Everything was cooked to perfection and so fresh.

Thank you for taking time to write such a lovely review ! I will show this to all of the staff and I know that they will be thrilled. Nice tidy B&B with lovely owners. Food is reasonable and rooms were OK. The proprietor and family were very good with our border collie and the cornish pasties for our packed lunch were great (and still warm).

Conveniently situated on the square close to the old harbour, the pub and the beach, this family run B and B is friendly and clean. I'd return there! It's quaint with interesting drawings on the walls, lovely cooked breakfasts and a few tables outside to sip your drink and watch the world go by!
