Quick weekend away... parked on pitch 55 - nice location. Great pool and facilities. Unfortunately onsite pub, fish and chip shop and Hubbox not open yet. I think they open April 1, however the Ship Inn was only a short walk away and did OK...More

We had pitch H31 last summer, which is just across a little gravel road from H28. Quite flat all the pitches, also quite big. I just checked my photos and I have a couple that show pitch H28, too. Right behind you there is a fence and I think some hedging as well as there is a little bit of a drop to the beach and the river. But that also means you will have a sea/cliff view there and on the front and side. You may get best view by facing to the right, towards the road rather than towards the sea but you're so close, you will have a pretty view anyway. There is a little slope to the beach though on this side as well. And the ice cream van stops right in front of pitch H30 so if you have children, be prepared for them to eat a steady diet of ice cream only all holiday 😁
I have some pics in my review.
