Just back from four nights in this hostel. The place it is set in is beautiful but during our stay there was no electricity for 36hrs!! Apparently this is a common occurrence! Rooms are crazy warm without air con and security is poor with anyone having access to the rooms. Wifi doesn't work for more than five minutes and the...

Great hostel at the back of the village, a little bit further than most to the beach but still only 5 minutes! Feels as if you are in the jungle, with a good breakfast and chilled atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and some spoke perfect English, they all seemed to know a lot about the area and where was good...

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights in a private cabin after being unable to book Biergarten! We enjoyed our time here, the cabin was clean if a little small. This was one of the few hostels we stayed in that always had hot showers and it had a great breakfast with lots of variety. The cabins are...

really a nice hostel. The people are very friendly, bedrooms and restrooms are clean, the place is quite, a little bit apart from the Abraao Pier, but sorrounded by nature. The breakfast is just delicious: fruits, juice and a different cake everyday. The also offer a cheap dinner from Mon to Fri and again, just delicious. The caipirinha just makes...

I've been there with my family (parents, sister and wife). Everybody's loved it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice and clean cozy bungalows. Perfect for couples with an extra bed for a kid. The walk to/from the hostel is ok. Don't be lazy. It's worth it.

You have to walk a little bit to get there (including some steep-ish stairs/walkways) but it is just worth it once you arrive: a green patch with bungalows, hammocks, a pond, a pink plastic whale (if I remember correctly)... just charming! Jeany or Jeanine, the boss does all she can to help you with some English, French and sign language......

Cute hostel that looks like it's situated in the jungle. The hostel was comfortable and clean. Each room has a hammock outside, and towels are provided free of charge. The location is good, 300m from the beach, but may be a bit hard to find for the first time. The only negative thing was the wifi which didn't work most...

Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in on this long trip. Sure, it's a little way up the hill and away from the town and beach but that's part of the appeal. It feels like you're away from it all and in the jungle. Very tranquil setting. Very clean. comfy beds, hammocks, decent breakfast. wi-fi is a bit...

One of the best hostels I've stayed in during my backpacking trip through South America. Really comfortable beds, very clean, centrally-located. The highlight for me was the breakfast - fresh fruit, muesli, bread, ham - without a doubt the best hostel breakfast I've come across. The staff are really friendly. They also offer dinner as an option which is fantastic...

This hostel was a breath of fresh air. I've been travelling for 10 months and this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's impeccably clean, the sheets are gleaming white and fresh, the towels are fluffy, the staff cannot do enough for you and they're always, always smiling. The breakfast is just incredible, you want for nothing...
