This is a cheap, clean comfortable hotel, easy to park outside and 15 mins from airport at San Javier. The guy who was on reception was friendly and helpful. Only slight problem which wouldn't happen in summer was that our room was quite noisy due to a central heating boiler underneath I think. However great value , nice room, continental breakfast thrown in. We walked ten minutes to an amazing Italian called La Plaza , check it out.

Comfy beds, good air conditioning. If you don't plan on spending much time indoors, this place is perfect. It's cheap, clean and quiet. The woman who runs it is nice, does everything around the place. There's a €3 breakfast on offer to get you going for the day.

This 'hotel' is a glorified bed and breakfast but don't let this put you off. It offers the most amazing value. Four of us ( two couples) stayed for one night as it is only 10 minutes from Murcia Airport and we had an early check in. Each couple had an en suite room. Our room had a balcony with table and chairs, electronic entry key, air conditioning, TV, free wifi, very clean bathroom with bidet, excellent shower and freebies. The bed was comfortable, the bedding clean. The breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate and the cost per couple was, wait for it, an astonishing 30€ per night. Yes, only just over £10 per person. We thought we'd been transported back a few decades.
Yes, of course you could be churlish and be critical eg my lampshade was scorched, the TV channels didn't include the BBC, if you wanted tea you had to heat water in the microwave etc. if I was paying 4X this amount I might be a little more critical but not at €30 per room!
The lady who runs the establishment comes across as austere on first meeting as she is very serious in demanding passports etc and she speaks no English. However if you are smiley to her she warms to you - she did to us anyway. When we left we presented her with the bottle of wine we had been given the previous night on leaving the very good local Chinese Restaurant. We had no room for it in our luggage. She could not have been more appreciative and we suspect her smile remained long after we had left Spain.
We were nervous at booking such a cheap hotel. We need not have worried. It was the best value ever!

This Hotel !!!! is truly Dreadful it is no more than a boarding house very damp dingy and smelly .It hasn't even got a name outside so near impossible to find then nearly impossible to get in.
The rooms are like something out of the 1950's and haven't been decorated since. Dust every where about a 10watt light in the ceiling light and only one of the bedside lights working this we were told was all allowed. The Towels were the colour of floor cloths and were so stiff you would think they had been starched we didn't even look at the bedding we just turned tail and left and went elsewhere .DON'T GO THERE.

We stayed here for 4 nights. 10 minutes in a cab from Murcia Airport, you get what you pay for here, good clean room, no frills, good wifi, quiet location, 15 min walk to the beach, adequate breakfast, totally Spanish.
Maria speaks little English but will try her best to help.
No complaints, would definitely use again.

This is a two star hotel,it's a house which has been converted. Approximately 1km from the beech and restaurants. It's mostly Spanish who holiday there so don't expect all those tacky British style pubs, thank goodness. The room we had was plain but had everything you need. Clean, shower, great air con but it didn't have wifi that worked, the TV had no English language channels and for 3 euros there is an all you can eat continental breakfast, the lady at the desk speaks poor English, but that's our fault and not hers. All in all a good budget hotel

Firstly value for money first class any criticism in this report is intended to be helpful, do not expect more than you have paid for and you will get more than you expect..
This hotel is an annex to Hotel Mar Menor, it is clean and comfortable ’ish, housekeeping ever day but inconsistent different number of towels each time and beds made differently.
Location was good, the road on one side was quite busy, and the garden is well kept.
We had room 001 a twin for 7 days, we would stay again but not for 7 days, remember it was winter, summer may be different. The bedroom had space enough and plenty of hanging and storage Tv and fridge. The unit that provided the wardrobe and draws also held the TV but it was not designed to hold a tv, just had a door removed, because the unit as a whole has not been modified as required there us a safe for use and inaccessible a large safe which if removed would take the fridge and improve the room.
The bathroom was a great size, but for a little effort it could be much better, the shower could do with a thermostatic mixer, not a leaking normal mixer tap, the shower head could do with a new head and fixing. The bathroom has his and her basin with a cupboard underneath that would be more use as shelves. We had to speak to the owners about lack of hot water.
Breakfast included the array of food and drinks for the breakfast that was good, no cheese no ham but if you want these buy them and put them in your fridge. Warning - No kettle so tea was by warning water in the microwave, unless you travel with kettle and teabags we do.
Reception was very limited and varied by time, you had a number to ring or you can pop round to the Hotel Mar Menor, on our last day we had to ask to pay.

If you have problems finding it as we did suggest you go to the Mar Menor hotel where the boss will take you to the other hotel.
Once there it was fine, small room, spotlessly clean. Lot of choice for breakfast.

we had booked a romantic get away over Christmas, looking at all the reviews and the hotels facilities we thought we had it in the bag.
check in as in other reviews the language barrier but we checked in and given room 106,the only room without terrace and balcony, our view was of the apartments at the back, the hotel write up clearly states all rooms with one or the other so gone was the romantic sitting on in the sunshine with the bottle of fizz my husband had taken as a surprise for me,totally spoit it.
The hotel states free breakfast, not on Christmas morning and free cycle hire, never mentioned not offered, very very disappointing,it was not the experience we had hoped for
