Stay here some days. Perfect located this time because the very loud disco the one not open. If it's open loud music to 5am. Quiet located and nearly to the centre of bars and many restaurants. Perfect for holiday in lamai. The sea dangerous because jellyfish.

I live very close to Samui and have stayed all over the island, this goes down as one of the biggest let downs/disappoints I've experienced. Rooms are overpriced, staff is not very friendly. I've been waiting for hours for the IT people to come look at why my computer won't let me log in. The 1st night I was in... More

We very nearly didn't stay here after reading some bad reviews but in the end we are glad we did because it was a great location, friendly staff and overall we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things we didn't like, i.e. few ants in the bathroom, no sunbeds on the beach & breakfast not great. Overall though, we're... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in August. Room is small and very dated- needs refurbishment badly. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Ants and a huge cockroach found in the bathroom. Staff were very rude and unhelpful. Only positive was the price of the accommodation and the location (on the beach and only a stones throw from the town)... More

Lovely resort right next to beach. Very clean and comfortable if basic accommodation. More could be done with the pool which is located in a corner away from most facilities, it was empty most days and not very welcoming. Food available from the beach bars as well as the resorts snack bar. Good value accommodation, wifi, great location and a... More

The location is fantastic, right on lamai beech and a 5 minute walk from the main town, bars and restaurants. Very quiet location. The rooms are adequate but not large, bed was comfortable, furnishings fairly basic, not one light fitting or switch was installed straight, even the air con unit was on the slant, obviously didn't posses a level! But it was... More

I have stayed at this property on a few occasions over a 8 year period and I have always enjoyed my stays here in the past. This time however the property is starting to show a little wear and tear, the service is not as good as it was and the overall experience was not what it has been in... More

Only upside is the location, virtually on the beach. Dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, quite important language barrier. Only one power point in the entire room. The stench is ever present, worsening when you turn on the AC. Unstable WiFi connection. Overall bad experience, would not recommend. We changed to lamai buri resort after one day: major improvement! Don't stay in... More

Starting with the positive, the location of Lamai Inn 99 is fantastic being right next to the beach and very close to the main dining areas of Lamai. The staff are friendly although do not seem to speak much English and any request beyond the most basic seems to be completely lost in translation. However, for the hotel price we... More

Not the Ritz but a very comfortable, right on the beach, short walk to some very nice bars and restaurants. Breakfast could be better, but I've stayed there about 10 times now and feel really relaxed and comfortable there. Decent pool, good rooms, but really its all about the location
