Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked our first night at the Perennial Resort as it was very close to the airport. It only took us 5 minutes in our hire car. The welcome was warm and our room was clean and comfortable. We were in a double room in the main building which was fine for one night but if staying longer then I would book one of the villas. The pool and gardens were well kept. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the bed comfortable. As well as being close to the airport there are amenities close by - a 7/11, money changers, restaurants and Nai Yang beach. I would happily stay again.

Room Tip: The double rooms in the main building are a bit basic if you’re staying for more than one night.

Hotel gives free shuttle to airport which takes under 5 minutes. Villa was huge but very poorly thought out. Table in living area too low, chairs and sofa way too low to sit on. Beds are mattresses on stone which is odd and not very comfy. Only bathroom is an en-suite to the master bedroom which is only accessible via the master bedroom so not great for the other bedroom. The bathroom only has windows no aircon and so is hot. The temporary fan in there does work but its still too hot. You can't open windows as the mosquitoes will eat you alive. The doors to the rooms and main front door don't fit and have huge gaps letting mosquitoes in. The TV has cable channels and more options than most other hotels but we couldn't get it to work. Breakfast is only served from 8am which is useless for an airport hotel and the beach is only accessible via the national park entry road at a cost of 200thb for tourists each. The pool is nice but in need of maintenance with broken decking and beds. This place could be amazing but falls short on so many things sadly.

We booked 1 night as our flight arrived in the evening and we couldn't catch our transfer to Koh Yao Noi until the next day. The room was clean and certainly value for money. It's a cute little resort with quirky features. We got up early and walked down through the national park beach area and that was really nice. Only a few minutes from the airport and a free shuttle which was great. Would recommend for a stop after/before a flight and would book again if we came back.

We paid a full nights rate to stay 5 hrs before a flight, they have no day use options. We arrived 45mins before check in and told the room was not ready. We ate at the little cafe which was good except for the open sewer pit right near where you eat. We got to our room and it had lots of flies and mosquitoes. I kept killing them but more would come. I worked out the door to the patio was a wooden internal sliding door and had NO seal!! Insects free to come and go as they please via the floor to ceiling gap between the wall and the door. The only thing keeping this door locked was a hook. I was very glad we were not staying the night. The extra bed next to the queen bed was not fit for humans. You could feel every spring inside the mattress. I had never felt a mattress like this before in my life. I actually thought it had to be a joke. Our room had a beautiful big tub, only problem was there was not enough hot water to even come close to filling it. My husband and I had cold showers while the children had a hot bath that was ankle deep. The TV was located in the living room where it was not possible to watch due to the couch being made of MDF wood with a few cushions. A child could barely fit on it let alone an adult, not to mention how uncomfortable it was. In the fridge we found 4 bottles of water. I opened one and noticed the seal was already broken. I compared the water level to another and it appears someone had drunk some of the water and put it back. I booked this hotel based on location and reviews. I struggle to see how it has so many great reviews when in the 5 hrs we were there, there were so many issues. Location was good however I would not stay here again nor would I recommend.

We stayed at the Perennial Resort for two nights before flying back to Bangkok to start our journey home. We remembered from a previous trip that Nai Yang Beach is a short walk down the road. This beach is incredible! The sand is white, the water is cool and clear and the snorkelling is amazing! We loved our stay at the resort because of the proximity to the beach, but also because it was a very comfortable place to stay. We were in a villa behind the pool. It was lovely. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with a small verandah where we sat and had our coffee in the morning. We also enjoyed lying on the loungers by the pool in the afternoon. The pool and villas are surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel also has a restaurant called Sea Calm. We had two breakfasts and two lunches there and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel and if we are flying out of Phuket again in the future, we will certainly book at the Perennial again!

Peaceful and very comfortable. Very very clean. The hotel is quirky and has a lovely French chic feel, lots of personality and has some lovely touches like the dressing gowns and slippers, comfortable mattresses and pillows and a very very nice pool. It is the staff that make this place 5 * for me. They work so hard and keep the hotel so very very clean, are friendly, chatty and so so kind. We’ve been here for 6 days and are very content. I highly recommend this hotel. The cleaners are wonderful, reception are delightful and the waiters are charming and helpful.

Love this place and stayed here a number of times. Perfect if you need to be near the airport and they also offer a free transfer to or from the airport which is less than 5 mins away. Rooms and villas are comfortable and I personally will use them again. Shop, restaurants and bars a short walk away.

Our flight was cancelled at midnight and we needed to book our own accommodation. Many places were booked out but this place took us in at little notice and provided us with a very well priced villa which was quaint and comfortable. The staff were very nice and everything about the place was unique and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

We booked this as a super cheap 1 night stay before an early next day flight from Phuket Int. to Chiang Mai. What we got was a story book, magical stay with an infinity pool all to our selves for the most relaxing evening swim. Do yourself a favor and get dessert from the little French themed bakery onsite!! The coconut cake & macaroons were so delicious. We walked to Sea-U restaurant just down the street for the best Thai food!! Perennial is over flowing with colorful flowers & lovely details every inch of the resort. Although we didn’t make it the beach was only a couple minutes away for a short walk, along with food, massages, ect. The trip to the airport the next morning only took minutes to get there and the incoming or outgoing planes never bothered us once. The staff here is so helpful, friendly, & professional. This place is 5 stars

This is a very cute resort. The villa was so spacious. The bathroom was huge. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great. There were lots of places to eat nearby and it was only a short walk to the beach.
