Detailed Reviews
Lovely bed and breakfast! The hosts were kind and welcoming, breakfast every morning was healthy, filling and delicious and the rooms were clean, airy and super comfy. We had a charming open air porch right outside our beautiful room. Very tranquil setting but close to all the attractions.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Viv was a friendly and accommodating host with a great eye for detail. The bright and modern decor and leafy surroundings made us feel cheery despite the rainy weather! The furnishings in the room were luxurious and room/bathroom were spacious. Everything was beautifully clean, and had been carefully considered - from having antibacterial wipes on hand, to the shared kitchen stocked with beverages and snacks we could help ourselves to. The continental breakfast was simple and fresh to get us going in the morning. There were extra amenities such as the gym, sauna & pool which we didn't get a chance to use but the wide range of leaflets helped us plan our activities. Our time staying here exceeded our expectations.

Very tastefully and modernly furnished. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed is super comfortable. I slept perfectly.
Very nice concept with a community table for breakfast. Since there are only three rooms, 6 guests can sit at the communal breakfast table. This means you can quickly get into conversation and exchange great experiences from the tour and tips for activities in Rotorua. The breakfast is also excellent.
You definitely need a car and it takes about 13 minutes to get to the center. But that's not a problem, because Roturua is so large that you almost always need a car to get anywhere anyway. It doesn't matter whether you drive 10 minutes more or less. The advantage is that you are away from the slight smell of sulfur that hangs over the center of the city

Comfortable king room with nice amenities and breakfast. Very Friendly and helpful hosts.
Gave us excellent suggestions to explore the area. It’s a bit out of town but was in a quiet neighborhood and only a 10 min drive to the town center
The hosts clearly want guests to enjoy their space and all of what Rotorua has to offer

This is a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. The room was excellent with a very large comfortable bed, spacious en suite with a very powerful shower, terrace outside the window overlooking the garden and countryside views which would be delightful in good weather. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to enjoy sitting outside or the heated pool. The whole accommodation was exceptionally clean, breakfast excellent ( particularly the bowl of fresh fruit every morning ) and our host Vivienne is a lovely lady with good knowledge of the area and recommendations which she is happy to pass on if requested. Although just outside Rotorua it is a very easy and quick drive into town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. Thank you Vivienne.

Very tastefully decorated, modern house, super nice hostess who offers a very good breakfast (eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit bowl, ham, cheese). From our room there was a very nice view of the hills. There was also a pool and a small fitness room. Overall a great stay

Jenny and Gary were eager to provide expert and patient advice on where to visit as first time tourists, and also what we may want to avoid, since there are some cheesy things in the area that draw large crowds but may be overrated compared to more off the beaten path and track options. They also provided a great breakfast and the accommodations are modern, spotless, and quiet. They are fairly new owners and have spent a lot apparently to upgrade the B&B and it shows, The big yellow front door is an initial sign of good things inside.

My partner and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary at Rotorua and we stayed at Parkside hosted by Viv, we were very impressed with the services and how clean is the property is. Viv even gave us a present for our 4th anniversary which is very sweet. It's better than 5-star hotels. She is serving a healthy breakfast which is a plus! We call it our favorite place to relax and reflect. We will always come back here if we ever visited Rotorua.

I wish I’d had planned more time in this area. I visited Waimangu thermal valley and Hobbiton and Rotorua and could have stayed longer.
The pool was a perfect respite after long days of travel and touring, the breakfasts were hearty and delicious and got my day started off on the right note. The hosts were super helpful. Highly recommended
