We visit as a family every year. We hired caravan no 3. The caravan had been cleaned but we felt it needed a deep clean. The carpets were dirty and could have done with a shampoo. There was no blind at the kitchen window. Walking round the park we noticed lots of empty pitches. Not a good sign. We went to the restaurant/bar for one drink and it felt very dark and dismal.
The park is situated in a beautiful part of Scotland but I feel they could have done a lot better with the cleaning of our caravan especially during this period of Covid 19

Stayed with family. Well equipped standard static caravan..worth paying for Loch view as sunsets stunning and view one never tire of. Good facilities on site can swim in Loch. Lots to do nearby...including look for submarines as naval base at top of loch. Lots to keep busy in surrounding area. Would recommend

Everything was excellent from the minute we booked our caravan (E35) for a Monday to Friday stay. Lyndsey in reception was friendly and helpful both on the phone and when we met her in person. We had an excellent meal which was cooked to perfection and was very reasonably priced as were the price of the drinks in the bar. The staff in the bar again were extremely friendly and helpful and ensured we knew about the facilities available. The caravan was spotless and had the nice touch of satchels of Coffee, Tea and sugar left out along with UHT milk. The park was so well laid out and a map we had been e-mailed detailed all areas of the park. We have already decided that we will visit again in the summer next year and I cannot recommend this park highly enough.

Stayed at Rosneath Castle Park for 3-nights. On arrival it took us some time to find our caravan, there didn’t seem to be any signage which wasn’t helpful. The caravan was clean and tidy however there were three dead wasps in the living area, unsure how these weren’t spotted on cleaning. Nice kitchen area with full size cooker, microwave and large fridge freezer, plenty cooking utensils also. Will have to remember to bring surface cleaner or wipes in future as there was nothing to wipe down surfaces. Also extra toilet roll. Nice, warm and cozy. Good powerful shower. A coffee table would be beneficial in the lounge as there is nothing to sit your drinks on while sitting on the sofa. We stayed in the Loch View caravan and were pleased with our view. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t have a decking/balcony area like many of the caravans around us. Also no WiFi which was very frustrating. The site itself is quiet however that is what we were looking for. The bar/restaurant on the site is very dark, dated and quite depressing looking. Had a meal one night which was okay however didn’t care to spend anymore time than needed in there. They also do takeout. We ordered an Indian meal one night from one of the local takeouts and they were okay with delivering to the site. Not much entertainment on if that’s what you look for. Small shop on site for essentials and there is a co’op a short drive away. Overall it was a lovely break away and would definitely return if looking for a quiet chilled break.

Caravan very clean and spacious. Superb view of the Gareloch. Dog friendly with doggy welcome pack too! Caravan site is immaculate- grounds well kept and no litter.
Caravan E102 is situated next to the laundrette and you can hear the conversations within as windows open, however not too early as mentioned in a previous review.
We'll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely fantastic time as a fsmily of 5 (2 adults 3 kids -2,4,6). The location is stunning. I couldn't believe we were just over an hour from Glasgow and not on one of the Scottish Isles. Stunning. The park itself is lovely and so well maintained
Caravan was flawless. Loads more room than we expected and beautiful views. The kidzone was amazing and so much fun. Play park is fantastic and the forest walk and stoney beach are perfect and peaceful for a reply nice outdoor based stay. The food was fantastic. The little shop on site is amazing lots of activities and things to keep the kids amused as well reasonable priced wine and alcohol for adults. Lots of sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives around the park too. The waters ports was a huge hit for us. Our kids loved it as did we. Really makes in stand out against other parks too. No need for a swimming pool as wild swimming and waters ports more than had us covered. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay! Can't wait to come back

After years of hiring a caravan at Rosneath we decided it was time to buy. So we bought our caravan last year (March 2019) through Daniel & arranged where our caravan would be sited. Daniel explained everything and made it happen with very little fuss. We have had a couple of things faulty (fridge door + gas oven) and this is where Richard stepped in, resolving both faults very quickly. The views are GREAT & a year on we r very happy with our big decision to 1st time buy. If u want a nice relaxing chill out time then this is the perfect place to buy or book a long weekend. Staff helpful and food good at the Castle bar. 👍🏻

Excellent 4 nights away. Static caravan was exceptional clean and well appointed. Entry time was 16.00 hrs and departure time 10.00 hrs. Had to bring own towels but bedding was provided. Even if you forget you can always hire things, laundry facilities on site but did not use.
Castle isle baron site served very good food and reasonably well priced. Dogs are welcome and have a place in lounge bar where you can sit with your dog must be kept on a leash when out.
Play park and soft play area for children other adult water activities can be booked on site.Lots of nice walks and beautiful scenery.Only slight down side was you could only get internet connection at the. Castle isle where it was good .
We went Mon night to Friday morning quiet but that’s what we wanted have been told it’s better at the weekends May go back then and see.

What a fantastic caravan Park. Quiet, well maintained, clean what more do you ask for...well here you get all this and the most fantastic Loch side location, a brilliant new playground for the kids a great little pub / restaurant / takeaway and just pleasant experience. The caravan we had (St David - G25) is the best and most comfortable caravan we have ever stayed in. A brilliant base for a fantastic holiday

Hi ailsafish We assume you mean can your dog go in the bar. If so, sorry but this is not allowed as health & safety does not allow for dogs to be in the same area as food. Kind regards The Rosneath Castle Park team
