Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Last minute booking when I saw the weather forecast and fancied change of scene with daughter (12) and son (15) Stayed in the romance themed yurt. Note to new arrivals..no local shop nor supermarket so bring everything you need supplies wise. Honesty box for ice creams which was very well received. So many positives to list including the following:
Fabulous host in Caroline who was both prompt in replying to email queries and also a lovely on site host. I felt totally safe here travelling as a single mum
Beautiful cafe open part of day every day on site doing hot drinks, breakfast rolls and sat nite pizzas. V cool vibe and decor..with the sun out, it felt like Ibiza
Lovely attention to detail in bathrooms inc toiletries and loads of hot water
Amazing stargazing opportunities on clear nights
Firepits and water stations for each glamping pitch
Good mobile reception
Only one v small negative I'd say..the 4 or 5 steps on glamping decking may benefit from being wider or having small hand rail.
A brilliant campsite and one of which I'd have no hesitation in returning to at a shot. Many thanks

Enjoyed a lovely one night stay at Rural Relaxing in Medbourne.
Very clean site with lovely facilities and a few electric hook up points.
The on-site cafe is open on the weekends and have a great choice of coffee and pastries which a great outdoor seating area.
The site is ideally located for exploring Medbourne and the surrounding area. The local pub is a 5-10 minute walk away.

Would highly recommend this site!

09/09/2023 - Most memorable day of our lives. Venue was beautiful and attention to detail incredible.
Caroline and her team were attentive and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone attending had an incredible time and had so much praise for the venue.
The staff were young but an absolute credit to their generation and the ethic to service that Caroline has instilled in them.
The outside agencies that Caroline recommended for catering were first class.
The decoration of the venue were aligned with the bride’s ideals and so everything was complementary.
Our immense thanks goes to all involved who gave us a special day that could only have been dreamed of ❤️ Simon & Jenny x

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay here for a birthday weekend away.
I'll start by saying the campsite, whilst small is lovely and the toilet facilities are very clean. The site tells you to take your own toilet roll on site but there are loo rolls in the toilets. Tbh, I think paying £120 a night they should be providing at the very least toilet roll.
There is an honesty fridge which we didn't take advantage of (probably because £2 for a 330ml tin of coke is really expensive).
However, I probably would have rated the site higher if it hadn't been for the worst sleep I've ever had on a campsite. For a site that calls itself rural relaxing, there was nothing relaxing about our stay.
Both nights there was rave music coming from nearby which went on until 5am both nights. I know this isn't really the sites fault but if this is something that is a common occurrence then it should be that those paying to stay are made aware of it. When the music started up again on the 2nd night I could've cried after such a poor nights sleep on the Friday. Also, as there is no one on site I'm not sure how you're supposed to make anyone aware of the issues.
Would I stay again, absolutely not purely because of the terrible sleep myself and everyone else on the site experienced.

Nice quiet place with two safari tents and some pitches with electric hook up. Nice clean site with some nicely thought out ideas such as the wash basins by each pitch, honesty fridge and fire pits. However all the pitches are on a slope so difficult for sleeping and setting up the tents, we were on the ‘flattest’ area and struggled and further up the slope the ground gets steeper. There is also limited facilities with only one male toilet and shower and two toilets and one shower for females - we were lucky there was only us and one other family or this would be a big issue when the site is busier. Some nice walks in the local area however the pub closest isn’t open up yet.

Went with a big bunch of fellow Vw campervan friends. Fantastic site, bit of a hidden gem, really.
Beautiful wood fired pizzas at night and a full monty, hearty breakfast in the morning. 100% welcoming hosts and their fellow co workers. We are all booking again for the same time in 2024

Visited the on-site coffee area for weekend breakfast on the recommendation of the host of our holiday accommodation nearby. Absolutely lovely outside sitting area, clean and busy. Dog friendly. The bacon rolls were so nice, lots of filling and tasty bread. So good we went back again next day!

We went to Rural Relaxing today for our lunch. I had the most delicious and creamiest leek and potato soup accompanied by a lovely warm bread roll and butter.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Stunning location. Tasty food.

Pretty good place. The communal area is quite nicely set out to be comfortable. Quality of food on site is very very good. Definitely needs better -and more toilet/shower facilities. Simply not enough. Site on big slope so you are likely to slide off your bed mat. Just through observation, think owner could be a little more respectful to young staff she has working for her. I just noticed a tone with them and eye rolling at their expense. Bit undermining. It’s a good campsite but the ‘unquantifiables’ were that the owner made you feel a little like you were on her property rather than ‘at home’ - just being honest.

We all stayed on the campsite and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. The toilets and showers were amazing (for a campsite) and having the cafe near our tent was even better. The food was lovely and the service was also really good. Scenery was also beautiful and there was a lovely pub about a five minute walk away. I loved the visit so much and definitely recommend.
