After a relatively short crossing over the Yorkshire Moors we arrived at the campsite and was really pleasantly surprised.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival.we were directed to our caravan and as we opened the door we were greeted with a wonderful site of the interior of our home for the week, beautifully model inside, everything you need for a comfortable stay with plenty of room for the whole family,
Comfy beds and sofa, and enjoyed the onsuit bathroom and seperate shower room.
The site and club house was great, we spent most night in there being looked after by warm friendly staff, food was very nice and portions size was great, "compliments to the chef"
Will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends

Just returned from a 2 night stay in one of The Mongolian Yurts with my wife and daughter.
Utterly brilliant place, the whole site is great, accommodates motorhomes, tourers, tents, statics and it has pods and yurts.
The Yurts are amazing, plenty big enough for a family and great value for money.
Warning !!!
the yurts do get hot and we have just had 3 days of 30° August weather so we simply just kept our doors open during the day which seemed to do the trick.
The site shower and toilet facilities are the best I've ever used on any site, spotlessly clean and loads of great showers. A 50p coin gets you a decent amount of hot water enough for a decent shower so take plenty with you.
The restaurant/bar is fantastic aswell. Great food, good price, decent price for drinks and loads of choice aswell.
Also the games room is great too.
The staff are really helpful and nothing seems like too much trouble. We will 100% visit again but this time hopefully for more than 2 nights that is if they allow me back after accidentally scorching the decking on the Yurt (which I did report) by using a disposable bbq for literally a few minutes before remembering and kicking it on to the gravel.
Sorry again guys and hopefully see you all again soon.

We have been to Upwood a number of times over the years and the place seems to get better each time. This was our 1st get together since covid. We had caravan pitches which were level and really well drained which due to the weather was needed. Also had standard pods and a luxury pod, all were really nice. Some family even stopped in one of the statics which was nice and clean. What sets this site above many others was the staff. All friendly and helpfull and a credit to the buisness. They catered for 14 of use in the club house for tea on the Sunday night. The place was full but the food was delivered fairly quickly and was spot on. We would certainly go again even if it is just a few mimes up the road from us.

We cannot reccommend a visit to upwood park highly enough.
It is simply superb in every single way
The newly refurbished restaurant and play area are far superior to any usually found on a camping site.
The shower block is immaculate and spacious
Staff go above and beyond to be helpful
The location is truly beautiful too.
10 out of 10 for EVERYTHING

Stayed here for 2 nights in our campervan. When we arrived i was on crutches and they moved our pitch closer to the toilet block and gave me a key for the disabled bathroom/toilet which was very clean. Actually the entire site was very clean. The staff in the bar are very friendly and the food is really nice, quite big portions. Very good site for families a the park is very well equiped and they even have a soft play area in the bar. definitely recommend.

We booked for 6nights Monday to Sunday but came home early due to bad weather. The park/toilets/showers etc are very clean and tidy. The views are stunning but it's very open for camping. So if you're in a tent, caravan or motor home with an awning (as we were) keep this in mind in case of bad weather. The bar is closed Mon/Tues and being in an isolated spot it's too far to walk to Haworth, so having some other form of transport is a must. If you're in a motor home take your tow car if you have one. It's dog friendly and there's a lovely dog walk down the side of the campsite.

Thanks for the feedback. We’re high up so a little exposed to the weather, but it’s a small price to pay for fabulous views. The bar and restaurant has seasonal opening, so not always closed on a Mon/Tues. If it is, the village is a twenty minute walk or £4 and five minutes using the excellent local taxi firm. Hopefully if you visit us again you’ll be a bit luckier with the weather and your experience will be even better 👌 Thanks

This place is a true gem!

My youngest daughter and I had our first stay here, in one of the heated pods, on a snowy night over the Easter holidays. We were blown away by the friendliness of the team, the beauty of the location, the quality and cleanliness of the facilities and the lovely warmth of the little pod! We had a magical time and wished we had stayed for longer. So, we decided to book another stay! This time in one of their Yurts.

My middle daughter joined us this time too and we set off for our 3 night stay with great excitement.
We arrived and were greeted with warmth from the lovely park owners. The yurt itself was absolutely beautiful! Spacious, clean and really well equipped.

As we were there for longer this time we planned some outings and visited the National Trust East Riddlesden hall in Keighley, Hebden Bridge, the Keighley and Worth Valley railway, Saltaire and of course had lots of stunning windy walks on the moors that surround the site.

The top of the park leads straight out into the heather moors and the views are just breathtaking. In fact I think this is one of the major selling points of this site - the views from the site but also the accessibility of easy walks. This is particularly great for those with young children - as you can be right out in nature very quickly…perfect for little legs that are not up for walking miles!

The bar and play area is brilliant. Also immaculately clean and great entertainment for the children.
As we stayed longer we used the showers, washing up and laundry facilities all of which were great! Cleaned to a very high standard and all perfectly efficient.
We LOVE the music in the showers!

The icing on the cake was the kindness of the owners… my daughter left her toy cat behind in the play area on our last evening and was of course, in a perfectly 4 year old way, distraught when she couldn’t find her. The owners sent her a photo of her cat safe and sound enjoying her extending holiday and are posting kitty cat back to us in the post! That is just exceptional isn’t it?!

So a big thank you to the team at Upwood holiday Park. We will certainly be back to make more magic memories with you.

Just returned from a 2 night break in a van we have just bought and on a budget converted to a camper
We had a brilliant time…me hubby and our puppy
So many people in different types of accommodation but everyone of them enjoying themselves

The toilet facilities are superb

The pub was immaculate…..
I don’t normally like going to pubs that allow dogs …., but obviously I have to change now we are part of the doggy brigade, but it’s kept spotless
Not even a tiny whiff of dog !!
The food was spot on too

We used the site as a base to visit Saltaire & Bingley 5 rise locks but will definitely return to explore more of the area

Most importantly, follow the campground’s own directions for arrival – not Satnav which takes you along a torturous, narrow route unsuitable for large campervans or caravans. We really liked this campground a lot. It’s wasn’t too crowded and was fairly quiet although we were there midweek. I suspect weekends would be busier. Location close to Haworth and Hebden Bridge was good. Staff were great and the facilities and site overall was clean. There is a small shop in reception plus a bar and restaurant on site open several days a week but we didn’t use either. Nice views from most sites back down over the hills.

We stayed on this wonderful site with 5 other motor homes we went as a group of 6 motor homes, we all play ukuleles guitar and other percussion instruments,
What can I say about this place .its a gem, the site and amenities are spotless, and very well maintained.
Every member of staff we had contact with are friendly, helpful, and so pleasant.
Special mention must go out to Dave, who calmed me down after taking the wrong way to get to site.
Also Jeff the bar and entertainment manager this guy is such an asset to the whole place.
We have booked to return again.
