The Art & Breakfast B&B is an absolute must stay if you're in this region of Italy! It's a hidden gem in a historic and pittoresque town, with a beautiful and relaxing garden, where we enjoyed an outstanding breakfast every morning. Karin is a super friendly and accommodating host, and she provided us with excellent advice on places to go or eat, things to do, and even helped with Italian translation. Highly recommended!

Rooms are lovely but no air conditioning, in the summer my room got quite hot! The towns last restaurant called Uchrist Bar posted on Face Book that they shut their doors for good this past spring! He was a wonderful cook because of this, B&B offers meals . To be honest the problem is the town< it claims there are 400 residents but when you walk around you notice that 90% of the houses are abandoned or condemned. Some roads are outright dangerous as on windy days tiles blow off from roofs of these derelict houses. There is little to do! Yes you can ride a bike which is quite difficult because of the hills, so I ended up walking! There is one bar left in the town so if you are an alcoholic you can pass the time drinking! If you like visiting ruins you are better off going to Rome!

Goodday Michael. I am surprised to read your review since I have no record of a guest with your name staying with us. Furthermore the B&B was temporarely closed in November. Maybe you have mistaken my B&B with another one and in another town. There are many towns and villages in Molise that has Ripa in their names. Best regards Karin

Spent 2 lovely nights here. Karen and Giles were wonderful hosts, the room was clean and pretty and the beds were comfortable. We had breakfast al fresco in the garden, which was lovely, and Ludda, their puppy was sweet. Karen and Giles speak English, which helped us. The town is small but the local bar's food is both good and topici. Karen directed us to nearby Casalpiano for a great lunch. Thank you Karen and Giles!

A warm calm welcoming place to stay and relax , the house, a big, beautiful garden where you can find your own spot to relax, and the small village. Every room is a treasure and the huge breakfast is great. Don't hesitate to take a ride up in the mountain to this perle and Molise.

If you are around Ripabottoni (or area), and need place to stay over night, I recommend this little B&B in Ripabottoni. Owners are very nice couple, she is from Sweden, so you will get a very good, hefty, breakfast (if you need/want) with all the goodies from the North. Everything worked well while we visited the place, we got very good tips from Karin and Gilles (owners) about the surrounding county and restaurants etc. All in all, one of the best B&B's that I have visited (why 4 stars.. there is always something to do better, isn't it..)

Art B&B is a jewel in a remote part of Molise. Beautifully and carefully furnished, it is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay if you wish to spend a few days in Ripabottoni. Gill is the most laid back person on earth. He will always be around to help you and he will fix you the best breakfast you can get in the area. Seriously…stay here. I had a wonderful time.

Karen and Giles were wonderful hosts. They kept apologizing for their English, but it was great! Beautiful home and an incredible garden!! I loved walking the garden paths and having breakfast in the garden under the pergola. Great breakfast. I was searching for family members in an adjoining village and Karen called and got an appointment for me with the city clerk. They had wonderful restaurant recommendations and lots of information about the area. Molise is an undiscovered treasure and we enjoyed our visit so much thanks to their skilled advice. A wonderful place to stay right in the heart of the village.

We, a party of 16 persons visited this "unknowed" part of Italy for 5 days and Karin and Gilles took very good care of us with lovely breakfasts, lovely personally designed rooms, great arrangements around Molise region, lot of genuin food, course in making pasta and gnocchi, visits to wineries and much more.Great hospitality! Just perfect! As the B & B just have 4 rooms, Karin organized stay close by for some of us.

We had a short, but very enjoyable stay at the Art & Breakfast. It was easy to get in touch with Karin to make the reservation. We contacted her a few times before we arrived and she always responded quickly to our questions. Karin has given us a warm welcome and was very accommodating during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean. There is also a beautiful garden to rest and where it is good to have the delicious breakfast.

On a planned trip to Italy with a group, my husband and I had planned 3 extra days, so we could travel to Ripabottoni and look into my family history. We found Art & breakfast on Trip Advisor, and contacted Karin and booked our stay. Before we had arrived, I had emailed Karin several times with lots of questions in regard to finding family info and things to do in the Molise Region. Karin was extremely helpful on all levels. Spending 3 days at Art & Breakfast was like visiting friends that you haven't seen in a while and never lost touch. Art & breakfast has a welcoming & home type of feeling. Though Karin is not from Ripabottoni, but is now a permanent resident, she is very knowledgeable about this region, and helped plot out some things to do while staying there. Karin also scheduled time to take me to the municipality to find out about my grandparents. She also stayed and translated the information that was given to me. This was quite a heartwarming experience and was very happy that Karin took the time out of her day to help. Overall, our experience at Art & Breakfast was a 10+ and look forward to going back someday, hopefully soon to see and do more of the Molise Region and to see Karin @ Art & Breakfast :)
