Value
Nestling on the pine slopes a matter of 150 metres from the beach, the hostal has been the subject of much acclaim from many customers due to the friendly atmosphere, proximity to the beach and value for money, ideal for the family holiday and equally popular with couples of all ages. All rooms at Hostal Los Pinos are en suite, some having a view towards the sea, others over the surrounding woodland. Lovely breakfasts are available on the terrace with view to the sea, and there are plenty of options for dinner in the village. The lovely terraces and good size pool in the gardens make this an ideal spot for a quiet and restful holiday.

A family run hotel.

Great value for money.

Always made to feel so welcome and nothing is too much.

Offer a gluten-free breakfast.

The location is outstanding and the views are out of this World.

Already looking forward to going back next year.

Coveted a stay at this Hostal for years, finally made it there this Summer when in need of a rest and recouperation break which it provided in spades. Would recommend this Hostal if you want peace and quiet far from the madding crowd. It is very small, family run, very friendly. The decor is immaculate, traditional , tasteful, simple and easy on the eye. Our room (superior double) was ensuite with a lovely sea view, ample space, beds 2 small doubles pushed together - v roomy. Breakfast was on the verandah again with sea views , plentiful , 2 rolls and a croissant each, boiled eggs, tomatoes, loads of cheese, jam and any extras you wanted ( at extra v reasonable cost). Piece de resistance though had to be the swimming pool which glistened turquoise and pristine . Loungers and umbrellas to sit under undisturbed all day though I mainly sat under the palm tree.

Drinks are available at an honesty bar by reception where there is also a comfy lounge to sit in. The hotel grounds consists of pine trees and landscaped terracing - lots of steps to negotiate.

Lovely, vibrant Cala Molins beach 5 minutes walk away with its beach bar, crystal clear water, soft sand and stunning views. V popular and deservedly so.

Los Pinos, you got a real taste of Majorca, sited in a lovely spot, with splendid views and stone throw from beach at Mollins. You can't help but relax, aided by the owner Ramond, who does all he can to help and make your stay a Happy one. Would recommend this delightful venue, to couples or families With children over 5 and under 14 ( teenagers might get a bit bored) Love to return one day, big plus Honesty bar, only down side, perhaps a little fridge in each room .

Absolutely loved this hotel. Our rooms were perfectly furnished, hotel staff very friendly.
Located perfectly for restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is literally on your doorstep with beautiful views of the mountains. Good rates and breakfast included. Would love to return one day.

Just returned home from a wonderful, relaxing week at Los Pinos. Our little family loved it. Fantastic location just up the hill from Cala Molins beach. We stayed in a large, very adequate room (twin superior) with amazing views from our terrace through the pines to the mountains. The beds were super comfy. Immaculate accommodation , the rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. For dinner Pepes Bar was just down the steps, we ate there most nights as was so good too.
Ramon & Juan was welcoming, friendly & nothing was ever too much trouble. Great little honesty bar with lots to chose from. Pool a little chilly but we did use it, lovely once you got in (it was early May!)
We loved this quirky little place, not for everyone as you will see from other reviews, but we will be back for sure. It was very much suited to us. Thank you Ramon for your hospitality.

This is our second time here and we love it. The situation is perfect with easy access to Pollensa and Alcudia. We have hired a car both visits and the island doesn't disappoint. The hotel is clean, friendly, fairly basic, and full of old world Spanish charm of a time gone by (as is the vibe of the whole resort really). It is great value and the breakfasts are nice if not a little repetitive. The couple of beaches are lovely and there are some great restaurants. Ramon at the hotel can't do enough for you and is charming and friendly. The pool is great and we spent most of our days here sat under the grape vine drinking cold beer from the honesty bar. What more could you ask for?

Just come back from 2 week stay at Los Pinos. Can honestly say I've not stayed in a lovelier hotel in my life (and I've stayed in a lot!). From the friendly, welcoming, interested owners (Ramon and his brill padre, Juan), for whom nothing is too much trouble, delicious breakfasts overlooking the beautiful bay (tea and coffee is prepared using water from a spring in the hotel!). Spotless rooms, quiet pine-tree location just 2 mins walk to sandy beach, stunning pool, SIGH! I wish I were back there now and will be booking again. Hasta luego Los Pinos!

Firstly, I am puzzled why Los Pinos is called a hostal because there is nothing hostal-like about it, except the price. I would describe it more like a 4 star family-run guesthouse. I truly cannot say anything negative about the place, the staff or the way it is run. I did read a complaint about the lack of variety of the breakfast on an earlier review but unless you are staying for more than two weeks, it is more than adequate and the variety is good. Cala San Vincente is a beautiful and quiet village which is perfect for a relaxing break; However, the only thing about the village which bothered me personally was that wherever I ate there was a screaming child or a barking dog. This was probably accentuated by the village being in a valley and so quiet. If these things don't worry you then its a perfect holiday location. These two things have nothing to do with the Hostal Los Pinos of course and I cannot thank Ramone and Juan for making my stay so pleasurable.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Hostal Los Pinos.

The staff were exceedingly kind and informative about the area. The room and hostal were very clean. The best part was the plentiful and delicious breakfast that we got every morning. I couldn't wait to start the day just to get breakfast! Clearly they are catering to a German crowd with such morning bounty.

Had a lovely summer break here at Hostal Los Pinos... the swimming pool is probably the cleanest pool I have ever seen, there were plenty of sunbeds and in a lovely relaxing area. The room was basic but really nice, we were pleased to find a fridge in the room so we were able to buy basic provisions like water, etc and keep them nice and cool. It is a one minute walk to the bay with is gorgeous!
The Hostal is just set back up some steps from the bay and restaurants. TIP: do not stay on the top block if you are not fit to climb a number of steps, we were on the top block so we had the most amount of steps to climb, it isn't an unpleasant walk but there are plenty of stairs so be prepared! Senor Coll and Ramon would do anything for you, they were so helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. We enjoyed the table tennis table and the woodland area surrounding the hostal as well. Breakfast was nice on the terrace, over-looking the bay, there was selection of jams, breads, cheese, etc.
In a quiet setting with plenty of nice walks, where you might even see some mountain goats!

Overall, a really good hostal and terrific staff where you can experience traditional spainish culture...

I am certain they can provide a balcony and the owners will arrange a modest priced bus transfer which will take 45 minutes.
