I stayed here at the height of summer (it was the sort of heat where you had to have 4 showers a day!) and booked in with work. Everything in the run up to arriving (directions etc) was fantastic, and they were able to take a long booking. I stay away a lot with work and having someone where I feel comfortable is incredibly important to me. Karl and David were fantastic hosts - incredibly kind, attentive and informative. Chatty but not invasive. They made me feel very welcome. The room was simply superb, brilliant attention to detail, HUGE comfortable bed. The bedding was soft and beautifully done. I can't speak highly of the room enough. The room was completely spotless, you could have done open heart surgery in the bathroom. They take real pride in their cleanliness and it shows. Breakfast was always top notch - cooked to perfection and with excellent ingredients. Only tiny downside was that Wifi in my room was very weak and patchy (perhaps the router is too far away from the rooms?). I guess it wouldn't matter for most but for a business traveller, it was a bit challenging (it was much better in the breakfast area). Parking is a little tight on the drive way, but that was largely due to me driving a hire car and being uncomfortable with driving bigger than I'm used to (used the campsite opposite which was fine!) I would love to return for a leisure trip - I think Karl significantly undercharges for the B&B. I slept wonderfully - the area is completely quiet A wonderful B&B - thank you so much.

We stayed here for a weekend while attending a friend’s wedding nearby. We were made very welcome & the levels of service were spot on. Excellent breakfast with a wonderful variety of items to choose from & the cooked breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend this B&B. Karl welcomed us and couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The room was of excellent size, bed very comfy with en-suite that was immaculate. Access to a small patio added to its charm. All areas were immaculately clean and infection control measures were clearly instated according to the recommendations made by the Government. A good selection of breakfast was offered and our ‘Full English’ was delicious. Teas and Coffee were available in your room and topped up daily. Bosuns Lodge is only a short walk to a 2 minute ride on to a walk-on ferry, which takes you to the West Cowes for plenty of choice of Restaurants.

A superb overnight stay at BoSun’s Lodge. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, everything you need for a stay away from home on the island. Karl was the perfect host, happy to provide advice and information to help visitors have a great experience. The bed was VERY comfy, shower was perfect, and breakfast was VERY high quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and presented very well. Our room looked out onto the garden and had a little deck you can sit on. If we return to the Island, we will definitely rebook BoSun’s Lodge. Thank you Karl.

Karl & David were perfect hosts. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable without overload. Great balance guys! The accommodation was stylish, comfortable, spotlessly clean and was very sensitive to COVID-19 guidelines. Thus making it an ideal place to stay with no worries. The little touches didn’t go unnoticed. You have a great place, homely and professional combined. It’s in a lovely location not far from all the amenities although the floating bridge wasn’t working but didn’t deter from our enjoyment. Great stay!
