I'm lost for words to describe our stay at Bosuns Lodge. The moment we arrived, we felt comfortable. We were made welcome and when shown to our room we were taken aback. Our room was spotless, light and airy and having access to the garden was a bonus. Carl was an excellent host. Breakfast was one of, if not the best we have ever encountered, and we travel a great deal. We have rebooked for another stay in October.

We have spent a enjoyable five night stay on the island. BoSuns Lodge is nicely presented. The room was clean and tidy with a large comfy bed. Karl our host was very helpful with lots of local knowledge and suggestions, to enhance our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fruits, yogurts, cereals and pastries as well as a full cooked breakfast. Overall Karl is an excellent host and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We recently spent a wonderful week's holiday at BoSun's Lodge. Our hosts Karl and David made us so welcome from the outset and we immediately felt at home. The location was within minutes of the ferry port, ideal for exploring the island and both Karl and David shared their wealth of knowledge about places to visit. Our ensuite room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The meals were consistently good with a choice of yoghurts, fruits and cereals followed by a full cooked breakfast. We had so much fun with our hosts and recommend a stay at BoSun's Lodge without hesitation. We certainly hope to return.

I have just finished a three night stay at the Bosun’s Lodge on business and I can not rate it highly enough, Karl did everything to make me very welcome and ensure that my stay was very comfortable. The en suite room was very very comfortable. I will be in Cowes on a regular basis from now on and will be staying again soon.

Hands down one of the best b&b we've been so far! Very clean, big and comfy bed, spacious bathroom, private little garden (prefect to store bicycles!) safe and quiet area. Walking distance to ferries, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing! ...and they have a tuktuk!! We will be back soon. Highly recommend this place! Cheers! Adrian & Ale

We stayed at BoSuns Lodge last week for 3 nights. Great room with king size bed, little courtyard (for better weather) and large en suite with bath AND shower. Everything very clean. Karl and David do a grand job. Karl’s breakfast was just the job to start your day. Couldn’t fault it. We highly recommend.

I stayed at the Bosun’s lodge for two nights and wished I stayed for more! My room was immaculate, as was the BnB on the whole. You would be hard-pressed to find anything to complain about, and if you do, you are probably one of those people who goes on holiday and tries to sue the local government when it rains! East Cowes has little to offer in eateries, but that's no issue because Karl provides a hearty, delicious breakfast!! The scrambled eggs are worth the double vaccination for alone. Karl was extremely attentive, kind and generous. When the local IoW taxis were busy (or retired!!), he drove me to the wedding I was attending in his tuc tuc!! And not only did I arrive in style, but I was provided with a fascinating guided-tour of east Cowes en route! His knowledge of the island was better than anything you will pick up in a guidebook! This was my first trip away since 2020, and a needn't of worried about anything! Karl went above and beyond to make my stay as fabulous, covid safe, and enjoyable as possible. If you can Safely get away. Visit the Bosun’s lodge because it is absolutely amazing!!!…

I stayed here at the height of summer (it was the sort of heat where you had to have 4 showers a day!) and booked in with work. Everything in the run up to arriving (directions etc) was fantastic, and they were able to take a long booking. I stay away a lot with work and having someone where I feel comfortable is incredibly important to me. Karl and David were fantastic hosts - incredibly kind, attentive and informative. Chatty but not invasive. They made me feel very welcome. The room was simply superb, brilliant attention to detail, HUGE comfortable bed. The bedding was soft and beautifully done. I can't speak highly of the room enough. The room was completely spotless, you could have done open heart surgery in the bathroom. They take real pride in their cleanliness and it shows. Breakfast was always top notch - cooked to perfection and with excellent ingredients. Only tiny downside was that Wifi in my room was very weak and patchy (perhaps the router is too far away from the rooms?). I guess it wouldn't matter for most but for a business traveller, it was a bit challenging (it was much better in the breakfast area). Parking is a little tight on the drive way, but that was largely due to me driving a hire car and being uncomfortable with driving bigger than I'm used to (used the campsite opposite which was fine!) I would love to return for a leisure trip - I think Karl significantly undercharges for the B&B. I slept wonderfully - the area is completely quiet A wonderful B&B - thank you so much.…

We stayed here for a weekend while attending a friend’s wedding nearby. We were made very welcome & the levels of service were spot on. Excellent breakfast with a wonderful variety of items to choose from & the cooked breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
