As we arrived and received a warm welcome from our host and cast our eyes down the beach, we knew we were somewhere very special. There are several accommodation options to suit different peoples needs, but the Rangimarie cottage has got to be the jewel. We were travelling with another couple and felt very lucky to get the upstairs loft...

We stayed in the Rangimarie cottage - the view from the bedroom and balcony overlooking the bay is simply stunning. There is a wonderful track from the property directly down to the beach. Joyce and Jenny were very friendly and welcoming hosts. We really hope to visit again one day

This must be one of the best positioned properties in all of NZ! Great tropical view over the bay and beach, nice walk down to the beach. At night the calm bay waves lull you to sleep. In the morning the native birds sing you awake with the calm ocean waves! Judy is an amazing Kiwi host and is very...

We arrived just on dusk to be greeted by our wonderful hostess, Judy. She was busy pulling out Onehunga weeds from her lawn in preparation for a grandsons wedding in a few weeks time. The views from this place are to die for. We settled in quickly and after a quick stroll along the beach we were rocked of to...

Judy is a sprightly lady with a spring in her step. So forthcoming and helpful with advice on what to do and where to go (or not go) and I love how she's great friends with almost everyone who means something on the east coast, even helping me with extremely last minute arrangements for my next destination at Mt Hikurangi...

Overlooking the bay, we have been served tea and cake and watermelons! And after a beautiful swim in the Pacific ocean and a refreshing shower in our luxury bathroom, Judy invited us for a delicious glas of Pinot gris and served us later a delicious salmon in spinach, cream and filo dought with a salad fresh from the garden! And...

My partner and I stayed at Rangimarie Beachstay for a second time at Easter this year (2016), and once again it was superb. Judy is such a fine host, nothing was to much trouble, and the food was absolutely tops, the Puriri room we had was on the ground floor, with doors opening out onto the lawn area, no street...

Judy is quite a character! I have never met someone of her age who is so energetic, so positive, for whom nothing is a problem. I can only say BRAVO! We only spent one night at Rangimarie but thoroughly enjoyed it. This place was different from all B&B we stayed in; we felt we were the Robinson Crusoe of modern...

This is a beautiful place in a magical setting. Anaura Bay a very special, undisturbed part of the East Coast, and Rangimarie Beachstay has all a person could want. What really sets this place apart is having Judy as the host. We had a bit of a rough trip traveling here, due to some setbacks, and her warmth, delicious food, and...

The Rangimarie house overlooking the sweep of Anaura Bay has all you could wish for in terms of views, location, and amenities. But what puts this B&B at the top of our 'must visit again soon' list is Judy's warm welcome, gracious hospitality and delicious food. We stayed in the elegantly decorated Kawakawa suite, and felt as though we were...
