I was to stay at the Hotel Cokkinis for just one night as a relatively convenient way to get to an early flight, but, the Transportation Strike of March 2023 impacted (i.e. canceled) my five-day sojourn to Sicily with one day in Istanbul and I felt like rescheduling was not possible so I shifted gears because I liked the Hotel Cokkinis so much, I ended up staying six nights! I could not recommend this hotel right on the Aegean Sea more strongly, with a family feel, high quality rooms, wonderful breakfast, and an absolutely great location to take day trips into Athens or into Nafpoli or any dozen (or more) of historic sites that are the foundation of Western Civilization! I strongly suggest you get off the toll roads and drive on the old main roads to get a feel of both the water the surrounds Greece and the the wonderful people and towns/cities that make up this beautiful country, and this Hotel is perfectly situated for all of this at a very fair rate. The walls are not the most sound-proof, but that is the only negative I can stretch. I would never hesitate to stay here again, the staff are so kind and accommodating, and offerring of guidance on places to visit if you came unprepared like me to spend time as a tourist. If I could give 20 out of 10 stars, the Hotel Cokkinis deserves all 20!! Thank you Hotel Cokkinis for doing everything right! Mark

I have been a regular visitor last 8 years to this hotel and I can really say that this hotel is something extra.
It’s so hidden, so you really forget that you are only minutes away from the busy streets of Athens. With the Privat beach, amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner, you don’t really need to go anywhere.
I have never seen a dirty room in this hotel so everything works really well. And to that, the prices are really low. I don't wanna write “to low” because then they might read this and increase the price. But to be fare, they could actually do it and it would still be with great value.
I recommend this hotel for anybody, but maybe not for people looking for party. It’s mostly couples and families.
I would also say that this is a great hotel if you would like to do both beach and city. Easy transport with the suburban train to Megara (9 euros from airport) and then call Megara taxi about 5 min before arriving to the train station. The drive from there is 10 min and will set you back around 15 euros.

This hotel is an incredible hidden gem less than an hour from anywhere in Athens. It was one of our favorite places we stayed and would love to return! It's very easy to reach, just off the main freeway heading toward Corinth, but located down below the freeway level near the beach so very quiet. Our room had a beautiful view of the Aegean, quiet and peaceful with a balcony so we enjoyed fresh air the sound of the sea at night. The restaurant on site is FANTASTIC -- some of the best food we had in Greece. This hotel in an incredible value and highly recommended!

We only tried the restaurant and it was awful.
We stopped over on our way to the airport for dinner. The bow of veggies arrived alone before the drinks. Food for the whole table was sent with exception of my - bill arrived without asking even before all sides and my food arrived.
Terrible food, tasted really bad and service was awful. Don’t eat there.

It is located at a breathtaking distance from Attica. If something worth it is the view from the room. All of them helpful to the staff. We went earlier and the girl at the reception gave us special paper to show it to the beach so we do not pay sunbeds. The hotel space nice! Breakfast was buffet, it was quite varied and in the outdoor bar you were served filter coffee and natural juice. We also happened to a summer party which was quite pleasant. The only thing we would characterize as a disadvantage is the prices that the hotel restaurant had.

Marvelous Hôtel with a very good view of the Sea.
The restaurant is amazing. I came here with my girlfriend and we had a great time here.
The breakfast formula was good. It was possible to eat outside and to appreciate the sounds of waves of the sea. Very peaceful place. I 100% recommend

Very nice place, booked a table for the restaurant and was asked how many cars our party would be arriving by. We responded 2 thinking that the hotel staff would reserve the parking space for us - else why ask? Upon arrival, there was no space for neither of our cars but, with some rearranging, we found space for one.
Though the dinner was a pleasant experience (food medium quality but pleasant service and location) when we went back to our cars, we were met with a bad surprise: our car had a nasty key scratch all though it’s side. We asked for camera footage but the hotel said they don’t have any. Equally, there was no sign that the parking is unattended and that the cars are exposed to unsupervised danger.
All in all, nice salad but the paint job for a scratched car brings the whole experience to a net negative.

Over the last few years we often spent a night here on our way to the Peloponnese. It always feels good to be here. Kind welcome at the reception, the best views from your room and the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner very good. Over the years there have always been improvements; wonderful rainshower and top matresses to make the beds softer and even more comfortable. Best pillows!
We will keep on returning!

Everything about this hotel was tasteful. We stayed just before Christmas and the Christmas decor was understated, yet personal - even in our bedroom!
We had a balcony with a wonderful sea view.
The modern restaurant was a 5 star event - with attentive service, a delicious meal and perfect lighting.

Only about an hour from the Athens airport, this hotel is a great option if you have a car and are heading west!
Located right on the sea, with magnificent views from many rooms, comfortable rooms , beds, bathrooms, welcoming staff and parking.
Eating out on the terrace overlooking the sea was a memorable experience - great food, attentive and friendly staff and the view!

About an hour, from memory, but would depend on the time of day and how busy it was. We arrived in the early evening.
