B&B was close to the harbour and very convenient for shops, cafes and attractions whilst still feeling quiet and secluded. Rooms and breakfast were excellent and the management of Covid safety precautions by the staff was first class and made us feel safe and welcome throughout. Particular mention to the bar management by Simon and Rebecca. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated that. Thankyou From Nick and Elaine - Clidive Group.

The durbeyfield is a great step off the Jurassic walk. 3 of us stayed there and Simon and Ruta couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Linda served us a very tasty breakfast which kept us going all the way to Abbotsbury. Thank you all for a fab trip Val edith and tracy xxx

My young son and I tried to go in here yestersay to shelter from the thunder and lightening storm. No notices on the door relating to my comments below so here goes...so we went in the front door grubby place only 1 couple and dog in there we settled down took wet coats off and went to the bar. Bearing in mind just for drinks in a major storm young girl asked what we wanted I said coke and a wine and was asked if we are residents obviously we werent to be told they are only serving hotel guests inside bearing in mind only 2 people in the bar. We were not residents so were told that we would only be able to sit outside...in the storm! Absolutely disgusting customer service when they were empty!!! Never again grubby and disgusting customer service no signs saying residents only etc!

Hello, I am sorry to disappoint you but due to governments guidance we can only serve bar customers outdoors as our pub is very small to keep social distancing due to Covid-19 pandemic. We can serve only our residents indoors. I am sure you heard of the pandemic and did not want to put yourself and others at risk.

Stayed for 2 nights visiting family. Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The owners/staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable (including letting us eat our take out pizzas on their patios which I know a lot of establishments wouldn’t allow). The drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced (around £25 for a round of drinks for 8 adults) and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Great location, right by the beach and harbour. We had a really lovely weekend
