On our trip around Ireland one of our last destinations was glorious county Kerry before flying home from Shannon airport. We decided to visit Valencia Island and stayed in a small B&B not far from this hidden gem. It's a very traditional style pub and the staff are just the most wonderful people you could meet which made our visit...

If you find yourself along the ring of skellig do yourself a favor and stop at the Ring Lyne. Pass through the very busy Portmagee, cross the bridge and go a few minutes down the road- you won't be sorry. The food was excellent and at very reasonable prices. New owners bought the place recently and are in the process...

Great find. Four of us took a chance and stopped in for lunch. Fresh fish, tasty Irish Stew, terrific bread, attentive staff, quaint restaurant. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Glad we stopped.

I've been to Valentia many times and it wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Ring lyne. This place has real character and you always get a warm welcome there. I was back for a family reunion in the summer and we were well looked after by Eileen and her staff.

I have been coming to valentia island for as long as I can remember. After long days of sight seeing and exploring there is nothing I love more than coming here for some good traditional cooked food and craic. Being here brings everyone back to a more traditional ireland. It's cozy, clean and warm. The land lady Eileen is extremely...

I have been using this pub for over 20 years, together with my Wife, and have always been greeted with a true Irish welcome regardless of the length of time between visits. Located in Chapletown this establishment could be considered as the heart of the community used by locals and tourists alike. Over the years I have attended a wide...

Just back from one night's stay at the Ring Lyne. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who pointed out places of interest in this very beautiful part of Ireland. We were delighted at the price, only 50.00 euro including breakfast. The accommodation is very hostel like, (though our room was ensuite) no frills (take your own hair dryer, no tea/coffee making...
