Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ann greeted us as we pulled into her driveway (which had ample parking spaces). She gave us a tour of the property and amenities available to us as well as a map and hints on best times to visit nearby attractions. It is clear that she has great pride in her business from her attention to detail. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and her breakfast hearty. If you are visiting Antrim County, it is a great choice!

The Causeway Lodge is a cute and charming B&B in a great location. We enjoyed our time there, but sadly we were double-charged by the owner for our stay. We had prepaid for our stay, but the owner insisted we need to pay in person when we checked out. She claimed she had not received payment from the booking platform so we took her word for it and paid again using my credit card. Upon arriving home we confirmed with the booking company that she had in fact received our prepayment and we ultimately had to dispute the charge with our credit card. Despite multiple calls and multiple emails the owner has not corrected her mistake. To date she been unresponsive to both us and our credit card company. Take care if you prepay for your stay using a travel booking sight like Hotels.com or Priceline. Do not allow yourself to be double-charged like we did.

We phoned late evening for availability for 3 of us and were offered the Causeway Apartment. On arrival Anne & Lyle gave us a warm welcome. The apartment was immaculate and spacious, it felt like home from home, it had everything you'd need. We were also able to use the gym and hot tub which was a nice touch. We had a great night sleep on the most comfortable beds. Next morning Anne served a freshly cooked breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, we've stayed in many places but this accommodation was by far best. Highly recommend!!

Do not miss staying here, there is an ultra luxurious hot tub, our room is so comfortable (and spotlessly clean), the hosts are lovely and the breakfast is incredible (a great cold stuff buffet and cooked-fresh hot food menu). Close to all local attractions, plenty of parking and everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect (loads of towels, loo rolls, mini fridge, fan and air con unit, comfy furniture, hot tub towels, etc.)

The Causeway Lodge is a perfectly situated home base for visiting the main attractions of the Antrim Coast. And Ann and Lyle really make it feel like home. Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, luxurious bathroom (the heated towel rack is especially nice on a rainy, cool day), and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delicious and Ann was very helpful with dinner recommendations and made us reservations when needed. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

A wonderful 4 night stay at the Causeway Lodge. Ann and Lyle were great hosts and were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Set in a glorious location and close to all the major sightseeing areas, this was further helped by a map being provided to us with the top ten things to see and do in the local vicinity. Our room was perfect in every way with a very comfortable bed, powerful and hot shower and other amenities in abundance such as teas and coffees. There was even a fridge to store fresh milk which was provided each day. The breakfast had a fantastic selection of both hot and cold foods and was cooked to perfection in a timely manner. Whilst ensuring everything was to our liking, the hosts left us to our own devices and were always at hand should we need anything. A perfect stay and we will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Ann and Lyle!

Just home from a trip to see the local sites, wee place is ideal for a few days sightseeing. Well situated very peaceful and quiet the couple who run it can't be helpful enough, hot tub is a great way for children and adults to pass an hour. Good breakfast and the coffee and tea selection in your room is by far the best I've seen yet. Great room. Wife found dust and cobwebs but I had to go looking them. I would definitely recommend thanks for a great stay

This beautiful B&B was absolutely a perfect for our elopement! The location was so peaceful and the breakfast was delicious. Things were clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I could visit here every year! I 100% would recommend this to anyone traveling to Northern Ireland. Plus, there are so many beautiful places to see within 10-15 minutes of your room. We are so glad we found this place!
