Stayed for 5 nights at this property in Room 12, a studio room. Don't let the 2* rating put you off, this is a fabulous Greek gem. Only 26 rooms and has swimming pool set in beautiful gardens adorned with trees and Bougainvillea. A real haven away from the main town. Our room had a lovely balcony, and although overlooked the hotel's car park this wasn't bothersome, and a lovely spot to sit. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom and kitchenette modern. The maid cleaned daily and everything at the property is well maintained. The owner, Christos, and staff were very friendly. Christos turned taxi driver too during our stay with no car hire.. We walked into Fiskardo once, which took about 40 mins along the main road. Would recommend hiring a car to see Assos, Myrtos beach etc.. It truly is a beautiful spot and the hotel is lovely. There are two great restaurants within a couple of mins walk, and a mini market ... grab a beer here and sit back for pre drinks.. ! Overall, a great hotel and I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful quiet place with everything you’ll need. A little out of town from Fiscardo but perfect. We hired a quad bike for a few days from just down the road, perfect for getting to some secluded spots. Lovely restaurant literally around the corner with friendly staff and beautiful traditional food.

Lovely place and even lovelier staff. Really clean rooms and picturesque scenery from the balcony. Stayed here for 6 nights and didn’t have a car, the walk into fiscardo is roughly 25 mins but it’s all down hill so a 7 euro taxi back isn’t that bad! Things to consider if you do decide to come here is, we payed for bed and breakfast but unfortunately breakfast isn’t running because of covid, so we were reimbursed promptly by the owner. Also on the 5th day we had to move room as an arrival was booked in ours, it wasn’t ideal but assume it was human error. Nonetheless really nice place and perfect for a getaway with friends/family. There’s two lovely restaurants a stones throw away down the road serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Next to those is a little shop to get any bits you want to cook or make in the room

Our family of 5 stayed in an apartment for a week. It was beautifully clean with lovely sea views. The rooms were air conditioned and the pool was amazing. It was nice and quiet. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and provided at taxi to and from the airport and helped us organise a hire car at short notice! We would definitely go back!

Would definitely recommend this apartment hotel. All rooms equipped with fridge, hob and sink. We bought a few breakfast items and ate out on the terrace after our swim in the mornings There are a couple of taverna’s about a 5 min walk and both are good. We arrived when the green fig and apricot trees were giving fruit in abundance. Blumin delicious!! Very clean everywhere and the staff are polite, friendly and very professional. I have to single out Hermione as she is the font of all knowledge, booked Taxi’s for us, told us about local restaurants and beaches, what prices to pay etc as well as being a real people person. Thank you Hermione you really helped make our stay perfect.

Wonderful, fabulous, very friendly and welcoming, especially Hermione and the lady who cleaned the room, who forgive me I can't spell her name. We stayed in 2 studio apartments- fantastic. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, all amenities and fab views from the balcony. First day back in England and I miss it so much.

Our family of four spent four days at Dafnoudi hotel in August 2021 and we are already planning to return as soon as we can. The hotel is very tranquil, set in beautiful gardens. It has amazing balcony views to the nearby cypress woods and the Ionian sea - and sunsets are simply stunning. We spent a couple of very relaxing afternoons at the pool, which we mostly had to ourselves. The room (apartment 2) was very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and quite well equipped. Most importantly, the air-conditioning was excellent - which was much appreciated and enjoyed as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The village is very tranquil and yet a stone's throw from the buzz of Fiskardo and many wonderful beaches. It really is a great base to explore N. Kefalonia from. The owners and the staff that we met are very welcoming and warm - and did everything they could to make our stay a great one. We hope we can return soon!

We stayed for 5 nights in apartment 2 which we loved because of the balconies with fantastic west facing views of the ionian - so relaxing watching the sun set each evening over the sea. The apartment was attractively furnished with a very comfortable king size bed and lovely contemporary bathroom with excellent shower and sea view. The living room was a little sparse, but we weren't spending time inside so it didn't matter. Lovely pool area which we had to ourselves quite often, and friendly staff. The breakfast could perhaps be improved, as the juice wasn't very nice and there were no pastries. More fresh fruit could also be provided such as melon, peaches, nectarines etc. The biggest issue at breakfast time was wasps, which made it impossible to sit at the tables near the breakfast buffet as they swarmed around you, and breakfast had to be taken to our apartment. When we mentioned this we were told it was 'nature' but that isn't really an adequate answer, when they are causing a nuisance, and need to be dealt with. We enjoy walking and found dafnoudi an excellent base for walking the lovely marked trails around the northern tip of kefalonia. There's a board showing a map of the trails in antipata and also in fiskardo. A photo of this on my phone was sufficient with all the signposts to work our way round them. It was handy having a grocery shop and taverna within 5 mins walk of the apartments, and when it was cooler in the evening, the 20 min walk into manganos was fine and there are 3 tavernas there.

Very good hotel, excellent room with the best walk in shower with amazing view, great comfortable bed and kitchenette, silent air conditioning, the room was great the pool was good but only natural shade from trees and shrubs but would get bit to death, the breakfast was adequate but we gave up after the second morning as got fed up with the wasp infestation, there’s a great local restaurant within 5 min walk, the Hotel is a six euro taxi ride to Fiscardo port, we tried the suggested 20 mins short cut walk into Fiscardo that took 50 mins in 40 degrees heat, not the best idea. We never walked back up the hill as would have killed us.....6 euros for a taxi is a bargain. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would return.
