Delightful guesthouse in a beautifully peaceful setting. Very cyclist friendly with our bikes being locked up in the shed. Large, spacious and beautifully furnished room. Great breakfast, lovely host and fabulous dogs to play with too!

We stayed at Vigoratum for one night en route to completing a cycle to Paris, but I didn't want to leave the next day. The building is beautiful, the gardens tranquil, the surroundings rural and peaceful, but none of that is what makes this a great place to stay. The service you receive from the moment you arrive is unparalled....

We stayed at Vigoratum for one night. Jacqueline and Luc were very hospitable and made us feel very at home. The rooms are beautiful and everywhere is immaculately clean. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and tranquil. We ate dinner here, cooked by Lex and the food was very tasy and fresh and mostly produced locally. I would highly recommend this...

We stayed at Vigoratum for one night en route from London to Paris. Very nice, warmed up with wood, and the parfum of the red ceddar just made it really relaxing. Exquisite meals: from the copious breakfast to the variety of the menu, everything was delicious (Jackie...

It’s our belief that our place is a link between mind, body and nature ...Inspired by the natural elements of life, then by adding a ‘buddha attitude’ twist...You step into a deeply relaxing sanctuary where to find a garden of zen-like elegance, with serene bamboo corners and buddha statues in all sizes and forms.Which give an air of serenity to the garden, all carefully landscaped to harmonize with the natural topography.Give your body and mind a chance to regain strength and balance , as you may choose to indulge in a japanese ofuro ,or go for an outdoor barrel sauna - all this, footsteps away from your personal pavilionwhich enhance the private ambiance.Lanterns and candles combine to magical effect at night. It's a dreamy place to forget (or remember) yourself, and a happy marriage of ancient wisdoms with modern comforts. ... more   less
