Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just a delightful friendly place from start to finish. Location: Very well, situated amongst shops, restaurants, and bars, and a literally one minute walk onto the beautiful beach of Bangtao. Rooms: Very pleasant rooms, good showers, plenty of free towels, and the two young women who took care of the rooms. Did an excellent job every day. Nothing too much trouble, extra teabags? No problem! Extra soap? No problem, water, no problem. But, without question the best part of the room are the beds , I haven’t slept so well in a bed, even at my home... Supremely, comfortable beds, and lovely pillows. Effective air conditioning, so a light duvet is provided. When I mentioned the beds to reception, and how good they were, she told me that the owner decided to get the best beds possible, so that customers could get a good nights sleep, and hopefully come back! Staff: In keeping with the rest of my very happy comments above, I have to compliment the staff as being some of the most delightful and friendly hotel staff that I have met. As the rooms are limited in number, we very much felt like part of the family. Huge smiles every day tends to make you very happy! Conclusion: Well, located, very comfortable rooms with excellent beds, nice swimming pool and comfortable sunbeds. Exemplary staff who never failed to smile and ask you. How was your day. Highly recommended.

Only 10 chalets. Little but nice swimming pool. Lots of plants and trees, so feels like an oasis. A couple of minutes from a great beach and lots of eateries. And the usual massages, tours and 7-11 on your doorstep .

Myself n my husband travelled with our 3 yr old son. The hotel had many pros, great location, very near the beach, restaurants, bars, massage places etc. The staff were very friendly and hotel was quiet and very relaxing. There was a lovely heated pool and jacuzzi clean and well kept and clean. As it is heated there is higher levels of chlorine in the pool which isnt ideal but necessary. Breakfast was only ok to start with on the first or two day but when asked if they could cook the food /toast to our liking, it was perfectly enjoyable then.Just to warn the bacon lovers, the restaurant is halal so no bacon for breakfast. The staff were all round very obliging and helpful. The hotel has beautiful greenery and flowers around which gives the place a lovely thai charm but it also draws the mosquitos. We did havd an issue with mosquitos and regardless of bug spray we did get our fair share of bites. Its a catch 22. All said i would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the resort, the only exception is for families with more than one child as it would be very cramped for space in the chalets. I would definatley consider a return visit to the bangtao beach chalet.

Loved these cute little cottages. The setting is lush and green. It’s just off the road but very peaceful and quiet. Everything is clean and organized. The staff is friendly although some seemed a little scared/shy. Inside the cottages are cute and well laid out, very clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast is OK, a bit of a limited and boring selection (fruit plate, eggs, toast, jam/butter packets with wrapped cheese slices, etc.). It wasn’t bad by any means, but could easily miss and eat elsewhere close by. Perfect location with a 2 minute walk to the beach with many restaurants & shops close by. We found Bangtao Beach very clean, unlike some other reviews, and enjoyed all the different restaurants and bars you can access right on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Tiny but big Cozy chalet, Green resort surrounding by the tropical trees. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I stay here just only 1 night before move to Karon beach but this tiny resort make me adore this place. Nice staff and helpful. You can go to beach just 2 minutes. I recommend this resort if you want to spend your holiday in Bangtao with reasonable price and good relax.

We payed 90 Euros for a night in this place and it’s not worth that. Would not suggest to pay more than 40. Rooms appear clean at first. The outsides are quite pretty, but not worth 90 euros. Pool is tiny and it’s not on the beach. Staff friendly

Stayed here for 9 days to surf. The location was perfect as the beach and the surf lessons' meeting place was just across the street. The beach is roughly less than 2 minutes walk from my room. The room has well enough space to be comfortable. The bathroom is bright and has a separate shower space. The staff are all very friendly and helpful to my needs. There was construction going on while I was staying there as the resort was doing facelift and refreshing it's chalets and grounds. It was understandably messy and noisy. The hotel staff did a good job though managing the whole thing. It would be wonderful to see once it's all done because it is quite a lovely space they have with the little fish pond and all the beautiful plants. If I ever come back to Bangtao, I would definitely stay here again.

We were in need of a week of rest and Bangtao Beach Chalet turned out to be the perfect choice. It's set back from the street in a quiet courtyard, while at the same time only a short walk from the beach, convenience store and restaurants. We also very much enjoyed having breakfast at the on premise restaurant every morning. The staff were all truly superb. I felt like they wanted to make us feel at home and they certainly succeeded at that. The only problem we had was that the air con in out first chalet stopped working, but the staff immediately moved us to an identical one, which was appreciated.
