Our trip began in Cancun, where we spent 4 days. We then took a charter bus (cost was about 70 pesos/person or $4) from the bus station in Cancun to Puerto Morelos, where we spent 3 days. We were dropped off in Puerto Morelos and walked with our luggage to Buenos Dias (about .7 mi from the gas station which...

I thought I submitted this review already but here goes a second effort! I booked one night at the Buenos Dias to give myself a chance to visit Puerto Morelos before heading down toward Akumal/Tulum. Arriving in the dark, Eva and then Sergio gave me perfect directions to arrive at their guesthouse. Sergio could not have been more friendly and...

We chose this little hostal/hotel because of low cost and funky atmosphere, and only for a short one-night sty. The rooms were clean and cute, and the exterior is colorful and interesting the lizard and frog ceramics. Eva, the owner, is a friendly woman and speaks english well. She accomodated an early morning need for coffee for me, which I...

My Buddy and I stayed at Buenos Diaz for 10 days in October and we had a great time. This was due in part to Eva and Burnie who are the super owners. We had a nice room with a large TV so we got to watch the playoffs and with the saved money, visit all of the tourist spots....

Generally a good place, avoid rooms without air conditioning especially that open out to the common area, can be alot of noise if people are talking and windows have to be open. They should stress that there is no hot water there. Not a deal breaker as it is hot there, but a rinse off after the ocean can be...

Only stayed one night at Puerto Morelos at the end of a longer trip through Yucatán - but it was a very pleasant experience. You can feel that the owners put a lot of commitment in their guesthouse, it is very well maintained and has nice little details in every corner. Eva helped us with practical things like transfer to...

My wife and I visited Puerto Morelos for three weeks and stayed at this guest house for the whole duration of our stay. We loved every minute. The rooms were cleaned daily and for breakfast we had a selection of yogurts, toast, chopped fruit, tea and coffee. Eva and Bernando run the B&B and nothing is too big for them...

We love to travel off the beaten path and were so happy to have found Buenos Dias Guesthouse in the town of Puerto Morelos. We loved this location in a small town away from the more touristy sites. Bernardo & Eva were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful with vast knowledge of the area and great ideas for places to visit....

We had a very pleasant 2 nights at Buenos Dias. We were passing through Cancun Airport on our way back to US and wanted a brief stopover without having to stay in a big touristy resort area, so Puerto Morelos and Buenos Dias were perfect for us. We paid for the basic room but were upgraded to the next room...
