The tax you make reference of is a tax destined to provide funding for environmental protection. There was never a “demand” for tip but we did leave tips when we ordered food/drinks and left tips for both day and evening maid service. It’s the kind of place that you felt so taken cared of that you want to leave gratuity as a sign of appreciation. If you know anyone in the service and hospitality industry, you understand how important it is to acknowledge excellent service.

There were no additional charges. As mentioned the front desk was clear that if took any a la cart snacks then there would be a charge for them. I do believe I reviewed an all inclusive package that only included breakfast and/or dinner with a daily limit however I was assured all food and beverages were included within my package. Took advantage of room service as well as ordered food several times throughout my stay with no extras. They did charge $800 fee for incidentals to your credit card and then reversed when checkout.

No snacks just whole fruit in a glass jar and beverages that included : sprite ,Fanta, beer , and water

The only thing we encountered was some top shelf liquor was not included in our all-inclusive package. Also, there are some items they leave in your room for purchase. Such as snacks and nice champagne. There was never a meal where what we ordered in a restaurant was not included. With all that they do provide, we never felt the need to purchase anything.
