We stayed only one night at the Chateau as we were enroute from Switzerland to Paris, heading home. We wanted to revisit the sacred space of the pilgrimage chapel at Ronchamp. We were very pleased to find the Chateau on TripAdvisor and even more pleased to stay there. Christophe and Émile have done an amazing job of restoring the old...

The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. they made sure our plans are carried out in the best way, including: checking opening times with museums, cooking our favorites breakfasts, booking our restaurants, etc. they have plenty of books and guides that were relevant to our trip and they were useful to us. the house is very clean, well decorated and...

We stayed for one night. The house is beautiful, set in lovely grounds and straight away the hosts make you feel at home. The room was a good size, well furnished and clean with good beds. Being picky the breakfast was a bit spartan: not much choice but the surroundings we were served in made up for it! Our host...

the mansion is very nicely restored and the owners have a really good taste. you feel like a king and are treated as such by the owner. We only had one night at this remarkable, beautifully renovated, historic structure on gorgeous grounds. It was the one rare day of rain but regardless, we were warm and comfortable and happy. As a result of the rain we were unable to explore the outdoor setting but the views from the large windows throughout the Chateau told the story. Impeccably...

There is only a world to describe this place: perfect! This old house has been refurnished leaving the charme of the old house of the mine's director. At your arrival the actual owners give you a warm welcome. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, silent. The breakfast is very good and various. The only thing to improve is the WiFi...

We stayed one night on our way to Colmar and it was perfect in every way. The chateau has been beautifully restored with endless attention to detail. It is very warm due to the wood burner in the hall and very efficient central heating. Our room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and very up to date...

People, quite rightly are attracted to visit Ronchamp to see Le Corbusier's Notre Dame Chapel. The town itself is unprepossessing but it does have a hidden gem, the Chateau for very superior accommodation. The C19 chateau has been delightfully and cooly modernised within with all modern comforts. The food is delicious and original

We've just returned from a week at the Chateau de Houillere for our 40th birthdays and to watch the Tour de France and go cycling. We stayed in the junior suite and had a wonderful time. Christophe is a superb host - great combination of giving you privacy and space plus friendly conversation. We dined with him and other guests...
