Lots of memorabilia on the walls, stories of Steele Rudd, Dad and Dave. Great atmosphere.Save time for reading all the stories and photos on the walls. Lots of choice on the menu. Very friendly, locals are also up for a chat.

It's a real country pub with great food. Lots of memorabilia about Steele Rudd. Lovely on a cold day sitting by the fire. Heaps of space for families as well. Nice little craft shop across the road at the original Railway Station. There is also a memorial to Sister Kenny just out of town.

We ate here for lunch and had the rissoles, lasagne and beef burger which were absolutely delicious. The meals were served with vegetables and chips of generous helpings. The pub is iconic and has plenty of historic items and photos - do yourself a favor and make sure you visit. Beer was cold and publican friendly.

My wife and I had lunch at Rudds pub yesterday. We've been here a few times before and always enjoyed it. The meal was good and the service friendly. Its not a top class restaurant but they are good pub meals at a reasonable price. The old pub has an excellent atmosphere and well worth a visit. If you go,... More

Rudds Pub in Nobby is rich in history with memorabilia from wall to wall, just fascinating, the meals are to die for and huge, customer service is right up with the best and the accommodation is wonderful, rustic and full of character. Can't wait to go back for another visit.

After an amazing day in Pittsworth dropped into Rudd's Pub for a late lunch, thought I would just get a small meal as not too hungry, meal arrived promptly and it was massive, you certainly get your moneys worth. It was also very tasty and ended eating more than I thought, my friend also got the smaller rump and we... More

Dropped in for lunch on a Friday at about 12.15 p.m. Great selection on the Menu, very reasonably priced. I ordered Mabel's Small Rump (350 Grams), Pepper Sauce, Chips & Salad, m/wd, $26.90. (Mabel's Large Rump (500 Grams) was $29.90). Meal turned up in less than 15 minutes, cooked perfectly. Decent salad too. I suspect it would take a little... More

Rudd's Pub in Nobby, south of Toowoomba on the south Darling Downs, is an historic old building, and looks the part. It's full of character, very friendly, and serves a great meal. We didn't stay there, just called in for a drink and a meal. Really worth a visit.

An old pub with a lot of history and nostalgia and most of all top food. I would deny and person to walk out of this establishment after eating a meal and say they were still hungry. The meals are of a very generous size.

It was worth the drive from Brisbane to Nobby, near Toowoomba, to experience the ambience and history of Rudds Pub and the village itself. Who would have thought on a Thursday lunch time this little pub would be packed to the rafters? Nobby is a tiny little village, so quaint and friendly, and yet a lot to offer the traveller.... More
