Tynnol Backpackers Lodge is a small lodge on a cattle farm in Lesja, high in Gudbrandsdalen valley. We offer simple and affordable accommodation in our 'stabbur' (a traditional raised wooden building, used historically for food storage). We can accommodate 15 guests in four rooms and also have a campsite. Fishing permits are available to buy on the farm. Tynnol is a family farm and three generations of the family live there. We have dairy cows, calves, pigs, and a cat. Tynnol is located 3km west of the centre of Lesja and 20km west of Dombas. There's a train station in Lesja. From Lesja centre, follow the main road west, about 3km, and you'll see our sign Tynnol". Buses stop at Prestlokken , which is 300m from Tynnol. Follow the signs to the farm. You can use your own sleeping bag or rent bed linen. WELCOME TO TYNNOL!
