we arrived to Mulled wine and mince pies as part of our deal, which was superb. The room was large and had a lake view, the hotel was very peaceful with lovely wide corridors, very light and airy. We ate in the Red Lion Restaurant which was superb. The Pub area was warm and inviting with a wonderful log fire....

Stayed here recently to celebrate a special birthday. Had a room overlooking the pond, which was wonderful with a sunrise. The "pig farm" that a previous reviewer mentioned, is one or 2 little "pig houses" several fields over, causing no issues at all - I actually slept with the "patio" door open all night; and it is the countryside! The...

Stayed for 2 nights in a feature room. Very well furnished with great bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were a bit worried when we realised there was a wedding going on, but never heard any music or doors slamming late at night. It was beautifully quiet. It would have been perfect if there was more attention to detail....

We stayed here for a weekend break. The staff, room and restaurant were all great. They were polite, helpful and we had a lovely time. There was a small wedding going on but despite our room being near the party we didn't hear a thing.

Our best friends recently married here and we were a part of the wedding party. From the wedding side of things, the wedding planner was lovely on the day and very thoughtful of everyone. The hotel was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and very well equipped. My main reason for the review is the mattress. It was incredible. It was...

The (standard) room was very spacious and beautifully designed, the bed super comfy, and we had an amazing view from our room (see the photo). The breakfast was a bit limited in terms of choice and size but overall good.

Thank you so much, we had a wonderful stay with our dog. The room was lovely, you don't get a downgraded room if you have a dog. The staff were very obliging and the food was excellent, we ate in the restaurant both nights. We enjoyed chilling and reading our papers on the sofas, sipping gin/wine in front of the...
