The Guesthouse is behind the Black Neck Crane Information Center with a view of the Phobjekha valley. The rooms are simple & clean, with a small heater for winter. No frills but everything works. The staff are friendly and the resto has a nice oven/fireplace to keep you warm during the winter months. No wifi but bear in mind that...

This is a simple lodge on a splendid location with great view. The rooms and amenities are spacious but basic. The service is great, homey and friendly. The food is among the best we had.on our three weeks' Bhutan tour.

Due to overbooking for the Festival we were bumped into the old building. This part of the hotel is not safe, there were many locals who seemed to be dossing down in a larger communal room next door. My room door did not close, a huge gap between the door frame and the door, held by a peice of wood...

A great location just above the black necked crane centre in the middle of the valley. An easy walk to the Gantey Nature trail start point near the stream. The guest house itself is in a large solid building, rooms are large with windows overlooking the valley, but very basic with a bathroom that has a faint whiff of sewage...

We stayed here in 2007 when the owner just opened the place. It was simple and quaint, rather basic. But it was cool. Since then they have built a much bigger hotel behind the original building and this place is not that nice. However, the location is very nice. Phobjika is cold, and the room was heated, which was great....

WE stayed 2 nights in April. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was good. Our room was big and comfortable and lots of hot water. It was cold while we were there but the stove in dining room was quite toasty. It is within walking distance of Black Necked Crane sanctuary. It was not a problem to be...

Great service and attention to detail turned this basic guest house into one of the better places we stayed at during our 2-week trip in Bhutan. Right after the lovely ladies helped us with our bags to our rooms, they returned with books for us as the rooms do not have wifi. It felt like we were in a mountain...

The room with basic amenities was ok except for the ice cold water which needed to be heated after the 1st shower. So be careful if you are twin-sharing. The dinner was ok & we loved the way they served the potatoes but breakfast was simple. It's one hotel that have 'funny' power points - a challenge for our adaptor...

We stayed here during out visit of the Phobjikha Valley area. This location is where birders go to see the black necked cranes during the winter. This accommodation is expanded with the original guest house now being used by the staff as well as driver/guides of tourists. We had room number 1 on the upper floor for the building which...

When hikking in the Phojikha valley we stayed one night in Gakilling guest House. We liked the place very much and felt that we really were in Bhutan, far from the nearest " Intercontinental Hotel "... It is rustic with charm and confortable as well. Large room, good beds, nice bathroom and typical food...Our guide was a bit afraid that...
