A friendly and helpful staff with clean, comfortable and affordable rooms. We found a quick and inexpensive breakfast right around the corner. It was very easy for us to catch public transportation to the city center and there were plenty of very good restaurants in the area.

I had such a relaxed stay in a private space. I fell in love with the decor, the garden, etc. The hotel staff was amazing, we treated with so much respect and care. The surrounding was just perfect and a simply reach to standard needs since it is a self catering - walking distance to shops and short distance taxi...

During our visit in Capetown, we stayed in the Green Elephant Hostel twice. The separate rooms en suite are extremely modern, clean and beautiful – even better than a hotel. Can fully recommend the place!

We were recommended this hotel by a friend who had stayed here the year previous. Our private room was clean and spacious with extra blankets provided for those cold nights. The only issue we had was that it was next to the kitchen and when (what we presume was) some local workers that were staying in the hostel made there...
