We have been to this site many times. Our first visit was in 2017 and we liked it a lot so have returned. We have already booked another three visits.
The location was what first appealed to us, it is on the coast and not far from Dundee. There is a regular bus service to Dundee a few minutes’ walk from the site.
The site is on the Tay estuary and there is a public footpath next to the site. There is a really neat and unobtrusive fence between the site and the footpath that does not block the view, but it does make the site safe and secure from passing walkers and dogs. The footpath is part of a route that leads to Dundee and the walk from the site to Broughty Ferry is good and interesting. Broughty Ferry has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Monifieth has a good Tesco supermarket, small independent shops, as well as a few restaurants and takeaways so there is plenty available close to the site.
The site is excellent, everything is well looked after. The staff in reception are friendly and helpful. The grass is kept neat and the shrub and flower beds are well cared for. The showers and toilets are kept spotless. Overall it is an excellent site and a great place to enjoy a holiday.

Excellent site. 15metres from the beach. Yes there is a fence going around the site but it is a strong wire, easily see through design. We like it because it keeps park secure and safe. People staying on site are given a key for the gate which gives you access to the lovely coastal path.
Site is Very clean, ground staff constantly cleaning/keeping park tidy. Lots of fully serviced pitches. Some of the touring pitches are on a wee slope but the park provide plenty timber blocks to assist with levelling. Showers and toilets are kept spotless and have plenty space and water always hot. Laundry room has 2 washers and 2 driers and there is a book and dvd exchange/library.
Large bins for rubbish and recycling are near reception (kept in a separate fenced area) . Reception staff are friendly and helpful, they provide wee packs for kids with lots of discount codes for local activities.
The wee town of monifieth, 5-10 mins walk away has plenty of shops, cafes and couple of bars. There is a tesco also.
Large grassed area just outside the park with a huge play area for kids.
Nice wee diner on site, haven’t eaten there but the coffee, cakes and whippy ice creams are awesome.
This place has absolutely everything we need and want from a caravan park.

Myself & a group of friends stayed for three nights, 3 stayed in a caravan & 3 in a S Pod, a friend has a caravan on site. Both were excellent.
I stayed in the caravan, it was spotlessly clean, each room was colour coordinated, a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, warm...
The park was exceptionally well maintained, so peaceful & quiet, very friendly, close to the beach.
We certainly will be back next year

Stayed here for 3 nights. Its a really nice small park with outstanding views.

Reception staff not the most friendliest I've come across, which is not a great first impression. They weren't either warm, friendly or particularly helpful. But maybe they were having a bad day.

The park is really well kept, the toilet and shower block, although not the most modern, was always kept really clean and fresh. In comparison the staff in the onsite bistro were so nice, very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast here and found it good value and very tasty.

The town of Monifieth is a 5-10 minute walk away, were there are cafes, shops, pubs, lots of takeaways and a large Tesco.

I'd definitely return and hope the reception staff are having a better day.

We stayed in the S Pod 6 for 3 nights.

Pros
Lovely site, good location, good toilets and very clean
S Pod lovely view, close to the toilets if you don’t want to use the ones in the pod
Toilet/shower in pod was great size
It has a full kitchen, fridge, microwave, gas cooker.
Really nicely decorated
Clean

Great location, nice for a walk to Broughty Ferry along the coast, close to town for local takeaways and Tesco.

Cons
The smell in the wardrobe of the Pod was awful, stank like someone had been sick, you also got the smell when opening the fridge. This meant that wardrobe was completely off limits.

We advised reception on the day 2 after, cleaning down the wardrobe three times the evening we arrived and the smell was getting worse, making it’s way out of the wardrobe into the pod. They told us someone would go and look at it and that the people who had been in the night before had complained too. Well we went out after about 3 hours no no-one had arrived, not sure if they let themselves in when we were out, it seemed a little better, but when we woke up on the Sunday morning it was disgusting again. Once again we cleaned it all down to try and get rid of the smell. If we hadn’t been there visiting family we would not have stayed.

When we checked out they did offer us money off a future stay as compensation and said that they would get someone to look at it. But given the people prior to us complained and they didn’t fix prior to our arrival, i would be very careful.

Very small window to check in so you need to be away of that and factor into your day, I didn’t notice this until I got the e-mails prior to arrival.

The beds aren’t very comfortable, the best one is upstairs, not the easiest to get in and out of especially if you aren’t young and nibble. We thought when booking we would use the one at the front (sofa which turns into a bed) but it’s tiny, no way I would say a full double, more like a large single and the once in the dinning area is a bit of faff to make into a bed, so once you do it, we left it like that as we had to kneel on the floor to push the table down as the leaver was at the back and front of the table.

Would I stay again, Yes but not in the S Pod 6, I would go for a static caravan for more comfort and to make sure that horrible smell was gone.

This is our first visit to this site and don’t think we would return with a caravan. The site is very open and the caravan pitches need SERIOUS attention as they are mostly on a slope which means if you ramp your caravan up to make it level and are fitting an awning it doesn’t reach the ground to peg in. Only alternative is to live with your caravan on a slope left to right for the duration so your awning can be pegged in. They are also very narrow pitches for some of the wider awnings available. Some people obviously think they are more entitled than others as there was a large caravan parked on T7 who decided that the communal picnic table would be best pulled right up to their caravan as their personal table/chairs. They also had two cars next to the caravan which should be noticed by site staff.
The small toilet block is clean but basic. A lot of the toilet doors do not lock, severe maintenance issues need addressed. Decent hair driers needed.

My husband and I have stayed here twice, once in November 2023 & again January 2024, the site is well maintained, pitches are a decent size, stunning views and a fantastic coastal walk. If I had to criticise anything it would be the toilets need to be updated albeit they are clean.

We will definitely go back!

Fantastic caravan site with very friendly staff who go above and beyond. Very clean and tidy, great for all the family and the kids loved the park and beach. Cafe is great for when you don’t fancy cooking and the kids loved the ice cream. Would highly recommend
