So I'll try to be brief: 1. not enough hot water!! we were two people (one who particularly likes his showers and myself in a cottage for 6(!) people and we ran out of hot water every night) 2. the shower head was peeling off 3. some of the walls were dirty 4. stay away from the studio apartment!! it's just so freaking tiny!! 5. horrible wifi. 6. a not so good restaurant (Sales), seriously you have so much better options.. 7. the prices are HUGE in relation to what you get for it (which is nothing much) 8. for some reason we only got two small towels for our stay for the entire week. we requested normal towels and got them 9. our initial reservation got messed up and we didn't get what we were promised My advise: there are sooooo many places in the area. no reason to stay at Aplend.…
Nice cottage in a small holiday village (12 cottages, 12 studios and 1 apartment building). Not placed very close to each other so plenty our room to play. Also a small swimming pool. We had a standard 6-8 person cottage (all wood inside, bit old fashioned, luxury cottages are nicer). Has 6 beds upstairs and a sofa bed. However, only 4 chairs in the kitchen. Kitchen is very small, as well as the bathroom. And the living room is way to small to host 6 to 8 people. Nice playgrounds. People at reception were friendly. You get a discount in the restaurant. On food only. Food is good and service is extremely fast. From this park it's easy to go to Tatra mountains or Slowak paradise. Poprad is very close and has some good supermarkets, also at close distance.
Good location to visit tatra mountains. Service is good, English speaking. Don't expect much help in tourism guidance. Has a pool and several playgrounds, which are helpful on sunny days. Rooms are clean but very simple and tiny. Overall a little bit overpriced if you're not going to use the facilities, otherwise it's good.
well, cannot say whether it was honest mistake or the way how they manage bookings; either way we wanted to stay in cottage (as per picture from booking confirmation) sadly we were offered small apartment on second floor (no lift and only roof windows with only proper window facing rather busy street in morning hours), which for family with two kids and hope to spend time outdoors is not ideal. anyway; apartment was rather well maintained and cleaned and for couple or singletons it would be ideal set up. kitchen was fine but it did not offer cooking essentials like proper knife, chopping board, bowl - there is room for improvement. other than that; it is nice resort with cosy feeling, small but lovely pool and some family activities. also it is pet friendly which we appreciated a lot. restaurant which is part of the resort has delicious menu and very friendly staff.…
Very nice room. Light was ok. Hot water, nice resort. The restaurant was ok. Area for children to play. Some small thing missing in the room , like soap. The reception was close when we check and no lobby available, even in the afternoon
