The hotel is situated far from main road, so it is a quiet place. It gives beautiful view over Assisi (on the other side of the valley). The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Very nice swimming pool.

We stayed here at the end of september. Nice room with a nice view and terras. Really beautiful view from the restaurant. Compliments for the food in the restaurant. Really good food and wine. Nice olive plantage. Very friendly staff. The only negative is that you really need a car. Not many things to do close by.

Very Cold welcome, very unconfortable bed, dirty fridge, pool 400 meters away from the appartments, no light on the terrasse outside the appartments until 9.00 pm (sun set was around 8.30 pm), no wi-fi at the appartments neither at the pool, only at réception, You can gent much better agriturismi for same value, but with a much better welcome, and...

We stayed at this place for 5 nights with my partner and child in a so-called "superior room" (at price of 175 EUR/night). Last year, we had had a great time in "agriturismi" in Umbria and hoped to have the same experience this year. However, this place did not meet our expectations at all: the room was quite small and...

For one week we stayed at the Poggio degli Olivi, with our two children (7 and 10). We had a very good time, thanks also to the good service and accomodation ( small cottage: functional, clean and cosy). Best: the astonishing view over the valley! Well documented touristic info at the cottage (normally you can read propaganda from the tourist...

Small hotel situated away from it all at the top of a hill overlooking Bettona. Great views across the valley to Assisi. Main building is a villa with lovely terrace, pool and tennis court. Rooms are located in buildings around the villa. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are traditionally furnished. I would have preferred a shower cubicle rather than...

Our visit was only one night, but it was perfect. We had spent the afternoon at the Perugina Chocolate factory and wanted to stay in the area. Our rooms were comfortable with simple elegance. Great for a restful night. We used the pool briefly, just before a brief, but torrential rain storm. The area gleamed after the storm, so it...

As part of a month long tour of Italy, my wife and I spent three nights at this hotel. Situated high above Bettona, this was a really unique experience. It combined both elegance (the main lodge and restaurant), and relaxed (the rooms located away in quads and apartments up and down the hill). The room accommodations were fairly basic but...

We stayed in this gorgeous place in three different occasions in the last 4 years. Always had a good time. Is such a well located place. We stayed in the apartments twice and once in the B&B. It is very well clean, and the service is very good too. The long views from the restaurant are great! You can even...

On our cycle tour through Umbria, one of the hotels we stayed in was Il Poggio degli Olivi. A beautiful 17th century hotel on top of a hill near Assisi, with a marvelous view. Our room was very spacious with its own terras. The staff was very friendly and did their best to make our stay pleasant. The food and...
